Pours a little darker than most american lagers. Aromas of corn, hops, and you know the rest. Flavor is a little more pronounced in this lager, a little more bitter.

Not great, but will do in a pinch, Hamms beats Bud by miles. Mass produced beers are never super, but Hamms is ahead of Bud and Millers. Good ice cold on a hot day when you just need a quick beer and are not that concerned about quality.

I love HGD.. It comes in a cool black and gold can and the chicks think you're cool for drinking something different. Who the hell am I kidding , the omly chicks I hang out with are my wife and she could give two shits less. Anyway this is just something you drink straight out of the can. Who cares about pouring this cheap stuff into a glass. I paid 10 dollars for a case of this stuff. Not a bad deal when you consider most other macros are at least 14 or 15 dollars for a case of cans. Try this beer.

Sampled from 12-oz aluminum can from oetiii. Pours a clear golden pale straw brew with a fast dissolving white head that dissipates clean. Aroma of corn grits, some citrus zest and light white bread malt. Taste is light bodied, well-carbonated with flavors of dry popcorn, some citrus zest, a touch of taco shells and some candy corn sugar. Finish is clean, crisp and slightly dry. Another average mass-produced macro light beer at best.

Gold color with a white fluffy head. Aroma is slightly metallic and corny. Taste is a bit deeper than regular Hamms and maybe a touch sweeter. Good fishing beer when served ice cold from the can.

(can 7/31/10). Clear pale yellow color. Small white head. Light grainy aroma, with very light sweet corn and citrus. Flavor of the same. Short duration. Light dry finish. Thin texture. Moderate to high carbonation. Spare lacing.

A bit more body and balance than regular Hamm’s, but one can taste the adjunct sweetness more at the same time. In short, drinkable but certainly nothing that would give reason to rush to the market.
