COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hamm’s, first brewed in 1865, an America’s classic premium beer, "Born in the Land of Sky Blue Waters." Miller acquired the brand in 1999. Hamm’s is brewed in true family tradition using the purest water and the choicest barley malt, grain and hops. Hamm’s has a low to moderate body and bitterness and a low to moderate hoppy aroma. Hamm’s is available in select states.

Great uncle used to distribute it so I have all kinds of glasses, tin posters, tin serving trays, all with Hamms on it. Too bad I like the glasses better than the beer. Very watery, not much smell. Typical cheap beer.

Can. Aroma is corn corn corn and corn dust. Flavor is almost nonexistent. Watered corn. Body is like water. There is virtually no flavor. It is water with carbonated vegetable broth. Total swill beer.

Can. Brewed from barley malt and grain. Wheat? Kind of a warm grainy aroma. No hop to my nose. Golden color with a fizzy white head that ran out quickly. Rather watery and grainy? Like wheat? Not corn. Virtually no hop. Finish is weakly sweet, with an illusion of bitter. Must have been better when it had a brewery of its own.

A Good, wheat tasting beer for the money. You can’t expect a lot of flavor, aroma, or think head on this one as it’s a bang for the buck, although it has a decent taste. Not bad if you’re in a pinch.

Easily the most obvious example of brand mismanagement existing. Hamm’s was, in the 50s, 60s, and 70s, one of the great regional lagers. It’s passed through so many hands, and its distribution so limited, that the brand owners simply don’t care any more. Now it’s another Keystone.

...well, not much here, mild brew used to quench thirst. I can’t think of any other reason to drink this, I have never bought it, and never will. Better than bud at least.

Mild but smooth flavor. Proably best beer for the money. It’s cheep but it has a decent taste. Good grilling beer

UPDATED: MAY 31, 2008 For another of the mass brewed it has much better taste then many of the other 55.000 gallon vat stuff. Goes down with a smoother taste then some like Bud, Blatz, Schlitz etc, Another better in a pinch then others.
