this was passed onto us in a can from a friend at NMU, apparently its a big deal with their frat. thats what it looks smells and tastes like - a frat beer with watery attributes that is a cheap drunken evening.

I was excited that this would give me a big surprise. Well, it was a bit of a lacking beer. It seemed that it was missing something. But hey, the bear is cool!

smells pretty foul, tastes watery and fairly unpleasant, and doesnt look particularly appetizing. but you know what? for buying a 24pack for 11 bucks, i’ll get over it. drink this if you want to get drunk. no reason to otherwise.

As another reviewer put it, Hamms is certainly the favorite of America’s Dad’s. It certainly was with mine. I was hooked on their commericials as a child in the early 80’s, which was perhaps the best beer advertising campaign ever! It’s interesting that it’s popularity seems to have declined to the point where I would say it’s scarce, at least here in CA.

Hamms, it’s kind of like the taste of the beer that is used in quarters after it has had a quarter in it for a while.

Can: Just another Pale Lager, drinkable. Was surprised to find it in a supermarket in Panamá City.

Found this canned in Rockford, Illinois. I feel dumb for having to rate this, but I actually didn’t think it was terrible. Light yellow, bubbly pour with canned corn and mown hay in the nose, and very little taste of any kind. Meh.
