If they used to trade this to the Spaniards for spices, then I'd say the Spaniards got a raw deal. Move along, people, nothing to see here.

Somewhat better than the standard American macro-brews but similar. More of a malty taste than say... Miller or Bud.

Classic beer with a good taste. My dad liked it and i do also. It has a good after taste and goes down smoothe

Can. A small sized white head that was creamy and smooth with small-medium sized bubbles that mostly diminished. The body was carbonated and transparent with a yellow hue. The nose was dirty smelling and also somewhat sour. The flavor was sweet, lightly bitter tasting, and somewhat malty. The mouthfeel was tingly and watery and thin. This was a light bodied beer with sparse lacing.

Gives me a headache after about half a bottle. Brutal as heck. What do they put in this stuff?!

Pretty good to get drunk off of since it tastes like water when you start, nasty hangover the next morning.

Not the best taste in the world. This is all i drank over spring break because the price is right. Aroma is brutal but overall its drinkable.

In my youth this was an exotic brew. It denoted your broad tastes to drink a n Hamms, but things change and this is a sad excuse for a brew
