Can gift from SJ. FFS. Watery, corn flavor, bland. Not much else to say. Next time use more malt, more hop, and good ingredients.

Hammís. Hammís! Hammís?? I remember the TV commercials for this stuff back in the 60ís when I was a kid. Then they displaced Natty Boh on the Memorial Stadium scoreboard in Baltimore for a while. Something with a bear on water skis. Yes, I am sober. My kid bought a case, so I swiped one. Pours a pale yellow/gold with a head that goes away in a hurry. No nose to speak of, or flavor. This is an outstanding example of post-Prohibition, post-WWII American megabrew.

UPDATED: DEC 17, 2013 Appearance: 1" sudsy white head recedes quickly. Clear straw appearance, moderate carbonation present. Aroma: some grain husks, corn sweetness, a bit of malt. Mouthfeel: light and watery. Finish is dry. Flavor: not a lot going on here. Mostly corn sweetness with a slight malt flavor. Maybe a tiny hint of hops in the finish. Nearly a drain pour for me.

Simple. Straightforward lager. What more do you expect for .50 cents a can? Clean, with super mild corn sweetness. A multi-purpose beer, when you just need something über-light. Sure it's like mildly sweet corn carbonated water... That's what's good about it. A mindless drink. No worries. --- tasted while on a long journey to understand the world around me...

12 oz. can. Pours pale gold with a white soapy head that settles to a thin film of tiny bubbles. Aroma is grassy grainy and slightly sweet. Taste is crisp grassy sweet and malty with solid carbonation and some biscuit. Palate is thin fizzy and dry. I like for 4 bucks a six pack!

Bottle. HGT Brew club tasting night. I think this is one of the worst beers made. Looks like horse piss. Smells like horse piss. Taste likes horse piss. What I really dislike about this beer is the oily mouth feel. Yes...oily.

Can. Pours gold with a white head. Relatively clean and approachable, with some faint grainy notes and a touch of sweetness. Tastes almost like a real beer, but not quite.
