Can at Black Sheep Lodge. Fratto was uber-excited when he saw this on the menu. Pours a clear golden color, to yellow. White bubbles on the head. Aroma is light, grainy, rice and dusty notes. Flavor is bitter grains, some rice notes, tad bit of metal but fairly refreshing. Finishes decently enough. Surprisingly inoffensive.

Bought this so we could play beer pong, every said it was nasty. I surprisingly thought it had an OK taste. Was rather drinkable at the time.

can. Running low on cash, decided to get a 12 pack of this. Have low expectations, but I’m hoping it doesn’t taste downright foul like busch or milwaukees best. Pours very pale gold yellow with macro foamy white head. Nose is very soft hops, corn starch, slight fusel / paint thinner. Flavor is at first not bad at all albeit bland, but the finish gets a little nasty, with some stale sock like flavors and starch. By no means even close to a good beer, I will say its a small step above busch / the beast, which was all I was hoping for $8 a 12 pack.

12 oz. can. Smells sweet; you know, like sweet corn. Subtle aroma, to say the least. Very sweet. Not very hoppy. It has a decent texture. Yep, I’m getting drunk off of this stuff tonight. The can is a bit intimidating, you know, like I’m going to drink something that is above me. I’m trying to be ironic by drinking this you say! What’s ironic about getting drunk on Christmas Eve?

Can, what else. Clear gold, fizz white head. Corn, musty malt, very watery. It’s a typical cheap american lager, just what you would expect.

UPDATED: NOV 9, 2010 Poured a clear yellow with a nice tall head that faded slowly to lace. Aroma was of malt, grains, corn and light hops. The taste was similar - malt, grains, corn, slightly metallic, light hops with a relatively smooth finish. The taste was almost a ringer for Old Milwaukee, and considering that Miller contract brews OM for Pabst, it makes you wonder.... Mouthfeel was kind of watery. Overall, it’s decent considering how cheap it is. Probably a good choice for college students and others on cheap budget.
