Hammís, first brewed in 1865, an Americaís classic premium beer, "Born in the Land of Sky Blue Waters." Miller acquired the brand in 1999. Hammís is brewed in true family tradition using the purest water and the choicest barley malt, grain and hops. Hammís has a low to moderate body and bitterness and a low to moderate hoppy aroma. Hammís is available in select states.

The greatest bad beer on the planet. If you rate it against other cheap adjunct American lagers itís hard to beat.

16 oz. tall boy can served in a shaker (6pack)- poured a transparent thin yellow color, one finger foamy white head formed, did not lace at all, but did last for more than a moment (start up computer, have a smoke, take dog out). Aroma of hard water, corn, and sugar. Hits the mouth with a thin body, malt has to be at least 60% corn, middle is watery, finish has an ever so light hop acidity- but you really have to find it. For $4 a sixer at HESleeze, itíll work. Hidden bonus is that 8 years ago, the old lady and I went to the waterfall featured in the 60ís commerical while on our honeymoon.

Reviewed from notes. This was poured into a pilsener glass. The appearance was a hazy yellow color with a bubbly white head that quickly died into oblivion. The smell had a sweet corn with toast all around. The taste was mainly the same thing. On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a somewhat decent sessionable quality to it. Overall, well Iíve heard that some say you havenít lived until you tried a Hammís...Iím not sure how I feel about that line...

A bargain beer; my expectation was a mild neutral flavor. The aroma is a dull malt. The beer is very pale but well carbonated. The flavor is mild, light, and balanced with a faint but distinct hop note to the finish - something that invokes a good hop strain used sparingly. The beer is comparable to Pabst Blue Ribbon.

Not to big of a fan of Hamms. My parents sell it for $1 a can at there bar. Iíve had a few, but really just donít like it. I generally only order this when a group of us are sharing rounds on the cheap.

Pours a golden color with white head. Not much on the nose other than grain, same for the palate.

12 oz. can. Pours a golden color with a medium styrofoam white colored head. Aroma of corn, beer, typical pale lager notes, mild sweetness. Flavor is bready, toast notes, mild earth and burnt corn notes. Light bodied with lots of carbonation. Finishes with mild sweetness.
