Aroma is grains and mild sweetness. The flavor is grains and mild/medium sweetness in the finish. Not really that much to it as far as flavor as expected, wasnít nasty though.

For $10 a 30 brick, what do you expect? Not much taste, slight alcohol, will get the job done after 5 or 6...

I can remember buying this for less than 10 bucks for a case and it did the job back in the day. Now...no thanks it tastes like the vomit I threw up in 1994.

Can poured a clear light yellow w/ a large frothy bright white head. Minimal aromas. Initial flavor is moderate sweet w/ a light bitter finish. Tastes are sugar, corn and hay. Light bodied, and lively carbonation.

Pour from a 12 oz can. Lighter shade of pale brew, fizzy head that settles to a scummy scrum on the surface. Aroma presents the faintest hint of malt and a more prominent metallic tone. Taste is light grain with a metalic finish. Very light (weak) tasting. Oh well - a couple of extra points in the overall for motivating me to watch a couple of the old Hammís commercials on Youtube. In the early 70ís Hammís draft was my go-to beer - Iím sure it was better than this....

OMGWTF...I was offered one of these at a biz outing...didnít know it was still made. Straight up horrible with nothing but the taste of corn syrup.

A friend gave it to me, hard but not impossible to find in Tennessee. Pale yellow. Medium, white head. Aroma of grainy malts. Flavor: Grainy malts, water, Whereís the HOPS? Metalic finish. More like a light beer that existed before light beers. I remember the animated Hamms commercials when I lived in the Cleveland area in the mid-70ís but I was a kid then. So I looked forward to trying this one with no high expectations. I got what I expected in that way. It would have been a decent beer for that period in the USA when there were few options. Today, itís just another watery beer but Iím glad I finally got to try one.
