12 oz. can- suprised by the aroma and appearance, nice creamy head and better than most macros, of all the old timer beers, this and Pabst are the ones I would probably drink again

Can. Yellow and fizzy and clear and urinesque. Smells like stale grains, old corn, cesspool water. Flavor is not as watery as some pale lagers but unfortunately the lack of wateriness is replaced with an abundance of cloying corn syrup and cereal. Finish is mineral and short. Yawn

This is not the worst swill; actually was better than Bud by a bit. Pretty nice can design, too. Not widely available in the Northwest or else I might drink it more than at present (but not a lot more).

Had from a 12oz can. Well it’s about what you’d expect for the style. It’s not terrible, but it’s not a delicious specialty either... fine for some fun and testing out!

Pours yellow with a thin white head that has almost no retention. Aroma is slightly grassy, some skunk, sweet malt and metal. Flavor is grass, skunk, sweet malt, a little toast and minerally blood tastes to the finish. This stuff isn’t bad until the finish, the blood flavor just really turns me off. Palate is light to medium bodied with a strong carbonation and slick feel. Meh.

24 oz. can. Pours a pale golden yellow with a white head. Flavor: Smooth, but little body. However, it’s perfect for a hot day like today.

My college roommates made me drink this stuff because they were too cheap to drink anything else. Of course, in 1980 Indiana, there wasn’t much better than this anyway.
