I hate this beer. It smells like off-grain crap and tastes like watery beer that sits like a sandwich. No thank you.

3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a very clear, very light straw color. About two fingers white fluffy head. Good lacing, good retention. Itís very well carbonated.
Aroma is more corn than barley. Slightly hopped aroma, lightly metallic.
Taste is corn forward. Sweet corn. Maybe a little more hoppy than many lagers. There might be a little cooked vegetable Taste, but again, thatís corn.
Mouthfeel is medium. Very carbonated, and that probably helps a lot. Itís smooth, easy drinking.
Overall, itís cheap, and tastes cheap. BUT, itís really good. For cheap beer, this is probably the best. In would buy this again, and I would certainly recommend it.

Can at Tempest, SF ... or possibly in the street outside 28/01/16.
Clear golden with a moderate off white cap.
Nose is pale malt, grain, cereal, straw, lemon rind.
Taste comprises much the same, cereal, grain, light metallic buzz, faint citric notes.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.

Not a quality beer by any means but this one is drinkable...i think the best thing about this beer is the cult like following of collectors...sold a tap for one hundred and fifty bucks!...wtf...go hamms...loved those old bear commercials...good times!

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
One of the better cheap beers I have had. Taste is sweet corn with a slight metallic twinge. We cannot get this in New England. Had while on a working vacation in Saint Louis. Not the best but certainly not the worst I have had. El cheapo cerveza that gets the job done and gets it done if consumed in mass quantities. The corn goes away if cold enough.

one of the best cheap beers, similar to coors banquet. Didnít get a headache from this one, nor did I get the shits. Canít go wrong for the price (12 bucks for a 30-pack). This is the one you give to guests who you donít want drinking your good beer.

12 ounce can. I know this will not be good, but I just had to taste it to revisit my youth. Bright yellow gold color. Large rocky white head disappates quickly. Grainy metallic nose. Flavor is light grainy malt with sweet corn notes. Pale and insipid. Light in body and short in taste. Still a real quaffing beer for the summer.
