You know this is piss I know its piss and everytime i drink 12-15 of them i truly understand the dark side of college life. WHY AM I SO POOR. DAMN

Sure it’s crap, but it’s good crap.

listen - for an inexpensive beer this beer tops THEM ALL! - aslo try a slice of lemon in a hamms - its magical - just try it - trust me - and beforre u say ur not suppose to put lemon in beer - well if that where the case all these brewers wouldn’t be making flavored beer then - so back to the story - its better the all the rest of the cheap stuff - (try the lemon slice)

Pretty good to get drunk off of since it tastes like water when you start, nasty hangover the next morning.

Hamms, it’s kind of like the taste of the beer that is used in quarters after it has had a quarter in it for a while.

My favorite beer of all time. Whether I’m just drinkin a few or I’m drinkin the whole case, this beer is top shelf!

UPDATED: MAR 6, 2009 I’ll admit, I’m not a fan of the ’beers you can chew’ or bitter hop-y beers. Why people like bitter tastes, or how that came to be is beyond me. The reason humans taste bitter and have this sense in the back of our mouths was to prevent us from eating or drinking poisonous things. Just say’n... Hamms is light and refreshing, something that’s great to drink after a hard days work, or when you’re over heated in the summer from mowing the lawn--- there’s nothing better. Unless it’s Hamms on tap in an icy mug, that’s even better! Hamms is a beer with an identity crisis. It sells for what amounts to .50$ a can here in MN (if you look hard enough), so it’s affordable. But it’s not a bad beer, like all others in this price range. It comes in a regal-looking can and has a good pour. "Sky blue waters" is the literal translation of Minnesota-- yet the beer is made (now) in Wisconsin. Also, the 30-packs have pictures of snow-capped mountains on them. These do not exist in WI or MN, trust me. Hamms might not do so great in taste tests or in the beer-snob circles, but I have a theory of why this is. The people who have the luxury of being professional beer judges or are able to attend fancy taste tests and spit their beer out after drinking it never work hard enough to know what a real thirst is, and what kind of beer it takes to quench a HARD days work!

like it. it has a nice corny taste and an aroma of pickles. no but really its not that bad and if your into drinking and fishing this old staple from minnesota isnt so bad. better than some microbrews for sure. from the land of sky blue waters waters hamms the beers refreshing

Love it, its great, i would say it it the best cheap beer. Very hard to find, where i come from
