listen - for an inexpensive beer this beer tops THEM ALL! - aslo try a slice of lemon in a hamms - its magical - just try it - trust me - and beforre u say ur not suppose to put lemon in beer - well if that where the case all these brewers wouldn’t be making flavored beer then - so back to the story - its better the all the rest of the cheap stuff - (try the lemon slice)

Not too much better in a light colored pilsner. But I grew up watching that Damn Bear going down that river on a raft, and that beats two talking Lizards, two ex jocks, and a goofy setting about it being Miller anytime.BRING BACK THE BEAR!!!!!

I love the haters of good, summertime beer. Hamms is a fantastic old favorite. Yeah, you’re going to have a stiff hangover, but don’t drink 12 of them. If anyone knows where to find Hamms on the East Coast, let me know.

UPDATED: MAR 30, 2005 Hamm’s is an old classic. It’s perfect for barbeques, watching football, hot summer days, etc. Pay your 9 bucks a case and toss ’em into a cooler full of ice. It’s better than Bud or Miller, and half the price!

Really easy to drink. watery beer of course, but its just good times to drink a hamms! a few bars in the twin cities area have it on tap, and for some reason it always tastes better there.

Personally, I find Hamms to be a rather charming beer. It’s smooth, light, has nice color and aroma. This is an old school beer that doesn’t get too much respect anymore, I believe in part due to no advertising. In my opinion it is comparable to any Miller or Budweiser lager product.

A fruity aroma and a pecuiliar cream taste set this beer apart from other megabrews. It has the beginings of complexity but convinces you its ordinary near the bottom of the glass. Bring it along to the family picnic or try it wiyh a tuna fish sandwhich.

Don’t know why this one gets such a bad rap. When I’m in the mood for a light american-style pilsener that’s as light as a light beer, but without the watered down taste, Hamm’s is my first choice every time. And at $5.30/12 pack, how can you go wrong? I still remember the Hamms bear commercials - from the land of sky blue waters - MUCH more original than today’s current shlock! This is a VERY drinkable light american Pilsener for a VERY REASONABLE price! Drink some.

UPDATED: JUL 29, 2003 A very decent American standard now brewed by Miller. Golden color, with a head that looks good but could be puffier, and a nice malty aroma. The flavor is on the sweet side with some grain huskiness, and the finish is mellow. Pretty good, but who in the hell wrote that commercial description?
