DWestrick (175), Ft Wayne, Indiana, USA Apr 24, 2008 Not a good beer but bonus points for the people who drink it. Will never go out of my way for one
BeerBunker (45), Burbank, Illinois, USA Sep 1, 2008 Pours golden/yellow color with a white head that surprisingly, does not dissipate immediately. Aroma is malts and corn. Goes down like water. Perfect for binge drinking, and that’s all. RevZombie666 (14), Washington, Washington DC, USA Aug 7, 2008 I love the haters of good, summertime beer. Hamms is a fantastic old favorite. Yeah, you’re going to have a stiff hangover, but don’t drink 12 of them. If anyone knows where to find Hamms on the East Coast, let me know. AOF (281), Naperville, Illinois, USA Jul 22, 2008 12 oz can. Typical american lager. Corny malt aromas, high drinkability, but thats about it. bulletrain76 (539), Santa Cruz, California, USA Jul 5, 2008 12oz can. Super pale yellow color, but excellent head retention and lacing. Light grainy aroma. The flavor is a little sweet with pretty much no bitterness. You can really taste the grain flavors much more than in more mainstream macros. Husky and corny flavors are quite apparent, but add some character that I feel gets lost in the pure flavorlessness of miller or bud. Definitely tastes cheap, but hey, it is. Similar to PBR, but a side-by-side shows it to be a little rougher. Though it’s still only suitable for occasions where you are forced into the style, Hamms really does seem to be a good example of the american macro lager. mweber962000 (50), USA Jun 17, 2008 love hamms but bad hangover. i drink this extensively and exclusively only on float trips in so missouri. which is alot. it is what is and in a canoe on the merema.... its the meaning of life. if drank on a daily basis. id probably abuse my wife.
