COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hamm’s, first brewed in 1865, an America’s classic premium beer, "Born in the Land of Sky Blue Waters." Miller acquired the brand in 1999. Hamm’s is brewed in true family tradition using the purest water and the choicest barley malt, grain and hops. Hamm’s has a low to moderate body and bitterness and a low to moderate hoppy aroma. Hamm’s is available in select states.

You see a lot of Hamms cans in the road ditches in eastern Oregon in logging and ranching country. Basically a reasonably good cheap beer, similar in some ways to PBR. Better than Bud and the other TV beers. Can give a pretty good headache in bottled form for some reason (not in cans). Draft form is better and less headache producing.

From the can stamped: SEP1012-CO8031534. Wow! I have not seen this in the Northeast in a generation. It pours an actively carbonated pale yellow with a white fizzy head that eventually settles down. Typical adjunct aroma of corn, grain, bread with a crisp hop bite. The body is light. The taste has a slight creamy appeal and a clean finish. My rating is based on whether it smells, looks, and tastes like it supposed to. It does. OK so it is not a craft beer but it is just like the beers my Dad drank.

Can. pours clear, light gold with white head. Scent is faint corn and grain. Flavour is sweetly corn and water.....basically inoffensive. Actually, for the style and being bargain priced and mass produced, it’s at the top of it’s league. Not too bad at all. cooler, cookout, canoe level....and what’s so wrong with that?

(can - 24 oz) Bought this from a shop on Fremont St. in Las Vegas. Clear gold, fizzy head, mild carbonation. Smooth and slightly sweet grass and malt flavor. Light finish.

Tap at Bierstube in Inver Grove Heights, MN. Poured into a totally frozen glass that put ice chunks into the beer. Not that it mattered. Inoffensive pale lager but boring and dull.

355ml can pours a pale straw color with a small white head that settles down to no lacing. Aroma is cheap grains and mild hops. Taste is cheap grains and mild hop bitterness which lingers and is undesirable. Not recommended.

Tap. Hamm’s is simply awful, it’s a low quality American lager. I’d much rather a Miller/Bud Lite.

Can. Pouts a clear pale gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of corn with some sweet grains and not much else. Flavor is similar with a good amount of sweet corn with backing sweet grains.

A basic standard American beer. I found myself gettting a beer gut when I switched to this beer. Given that I would drink water before light beer, I had to slow down on the Hamm’s.

Can 355ml in Panama
Clear golden color, good white head. Aroma of dishwater and green apples. Light bodied. Sweetish malty with herbal notes and apple. Very nasty industrial flavor.

TAP. $1.50 all day every day for a pint at Glory Days. While it is hard to argue with such a "deal," the watery, hardly hoppy, bit bready, slightly sweet pint isn’t worth much more than that; but compared to the rest of the "Domestics" on tap, this would be a more economical, if not SLIGHTY tastier option.
