(500 ml? bottle from Csak a Jó Sör, Budapest)
Clear dark red-brown, brief head.
Aroma is mostly dark fruits and malts. Smells strong though not necessarily boozy. A hint of burntish caramel that carries over into the taste.
Fairly full mouth feel, not too carbonated, a touch oily?
A bit sweet, but it’s a doppelbock and it does cover the alcohol. Slightly dry finish. Tasty malts.
Aroma gets more raisiny. Mmm, raisins.
Unusually, Phil did not share this. He might have scored it slightly higher.
