COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Seasonal - August. Also available bottle conditioned. Formerly known as Gold Reserve.
Ingredients: Lager malt and Caramalt; First Gold, Goldings and Styrian Goldings hops. - Brilliant gold colour with an inviting citrus fragrance of late added Golding hops. The fine hop and light malt aroma’s carry through to the palate to give an ale that is full but refreshing and with a clean bitter finish.

Bottle conditioned. Golden colour with a huge white head. Aroma of caramel, citrus fruit with some sugar. Flavours are zesty grapefruit and hops. Nicely dry and bitter. An IPA feel to this - which is a good thing. Very nice.

Sampled cask conditioned. Golden coloured. Slightly citrusy aromatic aroma. Medium bodied. Dry and lively,. This ale feels very fresh and quaffable and has a lingering bitterness. Golden ales is by far not my favourite style, but this one is really something extra.

Hand pulled at the Anchor, Birmingham. Smooth head. Good citrus blast. Excellent IPA style beer, with a crispy finish (hoppy and tangy). Fresh and refreshing in the mouth.

Straw gold colour with large bright white, fluffy head. Good looking beer. Fruity aroma that translates to the through to the mouth. Good sold body, with a decent bitter hop kicker. I may return for more this afternoon. tbc.

Cask. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is quite pleasantly mixed caramel and flowery hops along with some hints of malts. Flavour is vanilla along with the same stuff as in the aroma.
