COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Regular. Also available bottle conditioned.
Hops! Abundant aroma of the fruit of the hop, citrus and fragrant with orange, grapefruit and lemon hints. Powerful Cascade hop aroma through to aftertaste with distinctive bitterness complemented by good strength of malt character. Bright copper colour and a hop feast worthy of a serious India Pale Ale.
Ingredients: Maris Otter and Crystal malts; Challenger, Golding and Cascade hops.

Cloudy orange with a minimal head. Aroma is flowery and citrus. Flavour is citrus herbal and lightly bitter with a delicate malting. I had this bottle sitting around for a while and was pleasently surprised how tasty a beer this is. Very refreshing and drinkable.

Slightly hazy orange colour with a large head and wonderful spicy hoppy aroma. The taste had a strong lemony zest and a good, medium bitter finish.

Bottled. Pours a cloudy amber with a pale yellow head. Aromas of citrus, fruit, grass. Medium body and light carbonation. The taste is a nutty caramel citrus blend with a grapefruit finish. A nicely made ale.

Cask at the Eastbourne Beer Festival, 9th Oct 2008. Amber, no head. Citrus hop aroma with lots of grapefruit. Taste is similar - very refreshing but also balanced. Sharp finish. Truly refreshing summer golden ale that would be perfect after you’d worked up a sweat. Unfortunately it seems I caught the last appearance as the brewery closed in November :(

Pretty much how i would expect an IPA to be, hoppy and bitter. Citic, bitter hops, bready malts, fresh and kinda summery. Really good. Had it from a bottle, which makes me think the cask version would kick arse, tasty little brew.

Nice golden/amberish color, small off white head that had a decent hangtime then faded to a small lace.Very nice malt citrus aroma with a mild hint of hops.Nice flavor of mild grapefruit maybe a bit of pine and hops with a mild malt coming through to sweeten the brew and make it some what nicely balanced.A very nice easy drinkin brew that is worth having around more often.

Don’t expect to be bowled over, but this is a perfectly acceptable ale. You can taste the English breeding, it does not have the raw edge of many American IPA’s.

UPDATED: AUG 3, 2006 Open the bottle and you are greeted with hops aplenty! Surprisingly this beer had zero head. Cloudy amber color. Wonderfully bitter flavor. Spicy aftertaste (ginger?). Definitely a first rate IPA!

Cask Conditioned at The Swan, Banbury. Orange Amber beer with thin head. Toffee like flavour, sweet caramel, long bitter finish. Quite well balanced but somehow a little too chemically on the tongue.
