chris_o (4409), London, Greater London, England Feb 13, 2004 The beer of the festival, and my very last beer of the day. Copper colour. The blend of Cascade and traditional British hops sustains the interest. Aromatic without being too perfumed. There's citrus, bitter oranges, tree fruit, spice, aromatics and malt in there. All in excellent balance. Quite bitter and refreshing. Powerful finish with all the elements previously notes lingering on. This is a wonderful ebullient and assertive beer. jbrus (4193), Delft, Netherlands Aug 26, 2008 Bottle@BlindTastingSession. Hoppy aroma with sweet citrus and apple. Yellow color, off-white head, fair lace. Light sweet, light sourness underneath, bitter, iodine, peaty, hint of citrus. Very interesting but low drinkablity. fonefan (4884), Ulfborg, Denmark Jul 1, 2008 Cask handpump @ Three Guineas, Reading RG1, England.Clear medium amber orange color with a average, creamy to frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white to beige head. Amber with a big, foamy white head and plenty of carbonation. Aroma of grapefruit, apricots and earthy malt. Full mouth feel with a slightly sweet malt flavour, with some caramel and a mouth puckering citric hop finish. Very good.
