Apr 20, 2008 Growler. Brownish-redish beer. Smell of spices, but like many winters the spices don’t jump out at you and make you cry uncle. Very good balance. Smooth beer and nice taste. Will be getting the growler filled again next winter.

Jan 27, 2008 Draft at brewery. Pours a dark opaque brown with a tan head. Aroma is mostly caramel and hops. Tastes of caramel, licorice, vegetable, and spices. Finishes with a bubbly carbonation feeling. Alcohol is present with spicy finish.
