Cask handpump at The Wellington, Birmingham. Still copper with a slight lacing on top. Scent is of toffee and some spices with lots of sugar. Very sweet and slightly dry. Sugars and burnt toffee predominate with some citrus hops at the back. One of those beers which you can’t help feeling would have been better if brewed less strong.
