Bottle share at Chriso’s as ’Hancock Beer Export’. Old school design, although I don’t think it’s that old. BB 2009. 6.3%. Hazy orange, still, small foamy white head. Aroma is buttery, bread. Body is medium, soft carbonation, smooth. Taste is marmite on bread, smooth bready malts, yeasty with a soft bitterness. Alright.

Bottle from deep in ChrisOs cellar, consumed at his Pre-GBBF Shindig 2015. It pours clear deep gold with a small white head. The nose is earth, toasted grain, quite sweet, paper, tinned nectarine and peach. The taste is sweet, bready malt, orange muffin, quite sticky, light oxidisation and earth with a dry, sweetish finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Even though it’s aged it doesn’t taste too bad at all.

Pre GBBF tasting at Chris and Ruth’s. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and semi dry. Modest fine carbonation. Smooth pale malts, trace of creamy sweetness. Tired dried fruits and a trace of jammy fruits. Light finish. Really not bad for it’s age.

A couple of 70 cl. bottles shared during a BBQ. Clear, golden colour with a thin, white head. Sweet aroma with pale malts, hay, grasses and a herbal hops bitterness. Taste is light sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture and an average carbonation. Finishes slightly dry and fruity with hay and pale malts. Worked fine with the food, perhaps a little bit boring on it’s own.

Incredibly I´ve never rated this one before. Golden colour with white head. Aroma a little weak, sweet malty. Taste sweet malt. A little better than a lager, but nothing especial.

A finger of snowy white head, upon a crystal-clear yellow body. Strange aroma; Candied apples and a kind of marzipan-like scent. Superslick in the mouth. Medium full. Taste is sweet malty, refined and rounded. No balancing bitterness to speak, unfortunatly. A faint apple fruitiness. Some unfresh sourish sidenotes. [0,33 l bottle from Sidinge Gårdsbutik, Vig, Sjælland]

Ljusgul öl med vitt skum. Doft och amak av hö, säd och malt. Balanserad beska. Ett litet steg över många industrilager.

0.6 l bottle from Aarhus, Denmark... Too light clear golden color, average head... Interesting mild hop aroma... Mild Bock beer taste, quite good... Mild ending...
