0,6 l Flasche. Ein Geschenk meiner lieben Nachbarn.

Ok øl, lidt kedeligt, men god allround øl.. Stærk øl men ikke for spritteret....

DraftDodger (1082) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - APR 16, 2016
Copenhagen 16/4 2016. 70 cl bottle from Meny. Classic golden label with red silhouette of red rooster. Pours clear pale yellow with dense white head. Settles as thin layer of foam. Aroma of malts with a sourish tinge. Some metallic alcohol in the background. medium carbonation and slightly thick palate. Taste has discrete malty sweetness and nice bitterness which lingers in the aftertaste. Nothing unforgettable - but a nice bitter strong beer.

Bottle shared at the 2015 edition of the chriso Pre-GBBF tasting - London. Sourced from the chriso vault. Vintage c. 2008 - BB 2009. Cheers! Pours clear gold with a mellow, creamy white head. Some dusty paper in the nose, light caramel. Light to medium sweet flavour with prominent sugary pale bread character. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Dry and dusty on the finish, with more pale bread, simple white sugar. OK stuff, especially considering the age.

Flaske. Farven er gylden og skumkronen er hvidt og tæt. Aromaen er malt og humle, medens humlen er meget tydeligere i smagen. De laver altså gode øl hos Hancock.

Sweet malt aroma, slight hoppy notes. Pale clear liquid. White foam. Medium sweet, light bitter. Alcohol aroma and taste are present. Average carbonation. Overall a typical danish luxury beer produced by Hancock.

Denne Hancock beer har et klar lyst udseende med et medium skum. Øllen har ikke en kraftig aroma eller smag, da den smager lidt sprittet. Dog smager den lidt igennem af pilsner humle. Medium karbonering.

Bottle share at Chriso’s as ’Hancock Beer Export’. Old school design, although I don’t think it’s that old. BB 2009. 6.3%. Hazy orange, still, small foamy white head. Aroma is buttery, bread. Body is medium, soft carbonation, smooth. Taste is marmite on bread, smooth bready malts, yeasty with a soft bitterness. Alright.

Scopey (12507) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 18, 2015
Bottle from deep in ChrisOs cellar, consumed at his Pre-GBBF Shindig 2015. It pours clear deep gold with a small white head. The nose is earth, toasted grain, quite sweet, paper, tinned nectarine and peach. The taste is sweet, bready malt, orange muffin, quite sticky, light oxidisation and earth with a dry, sweetish finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Even though it’s aged it doesn’t taste too bad at all.
