Brown color, small off-wite head. Lovely malty aroma, with a touch of caramel. The flavor is malty, with some hops to back it up. Caramel notes... Rather nice one...

Medium brown color, small tan head that faded quickly.Malty, caramel aroma with a hint of hops.Light malt flavor with hints of caramel and hops and a light sweetness coming through as well.Fairly carbonated, the brew is not bad but is definately thin and watery with the flavors being much the same.Over all it's a brew that is worth trying but it's not real high on the flavor scale.

Small beige head on a clear dark brown/red body. Watery aroma with a little malt. Sweet malty flavor with some hops to the aftertaste. Watery.

Dark red with a short-lived white and bubbly head. Strong nose of malt and honey, but the beer is quite thin and watery.

Dark amber color with a nice white head. The taste is malty with a well balanced hoppy finish.

HansJM (358) - NORWAY - AUG 22, 2003
A very good dark lager. Not much head, but a good burned aroma.Medium body, well balanced. Some fruit, no water-taste in the middle (as there sometimes is with beers in this style) Very nice hops. Well above average!

Ungstrup (26476) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - MAY 15, 2003
A dark brown beer with no head. The aroma is malty, lightly roasted, and sweet. The flavor is soft, lightly roasted with notes of brewmash and straws. An OK beer but pretty average. It lacks bitterness, character, and is too thin.

Draught at the Danish Beerfestival 2003: Rather dissapointed: if this were meant as a replacement for "Tuborg Red", it is way too thin. More malt required!

A great disappointment. Watery and thin. No head, reddish color and overall very uninteresting.

Reddish brown colour. The aroma is strange. It seems thin. Not enough body. Not nearly as good as the late Rød Tuborg.
