Slight vinegar in the nose, pale gold, frothy sticky head like a Cafe Latte. Creamy malt base, light tingly grassy bitter. Medium body. Raw and rough, but really not that good. Thanks Jeppe!

Bottle. Frothy fair mostly deminishing head. Yellow colour. Bad bready aroma. OK flavor. Very watery palate. Lots of danish discount beers are better than this one. Avoid.

May Jeppe correct me if that isn’t the Hancock Pilsner I had at his wonderful beer store! Golden color nice frothy head. Intense ornage nose but also hart boiled eggs. Grapefruit and flat orange taste.

Very faint sweet malty aroma. Very pale yellow colour and white head. Head fades fast but never disappears from the rim of the beer. Carbonation is limited. While not exceptional the flavour is pleasant and it is evident that the beer is made with saaz-hops, and it has sort of a bitter sour-fresh taste. The aftertaste is more powerful then a regular Danish pilsner. Maybe my favourite regular Danish pilsner.

On tap at Charlie’s, Copenhagen. Golden colour. Clean, fresh mouthfeel with a rather grainy flavour. Some buttery notes, but not too intrusive. Nothing out of the ordinary, but pleasant enough.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cereal malt graininess with a lightly citrus-lemon tone to the aroma. Clear golden blonde with a low white head that recedes to ring. Grainy, sweet cereal malt flavour with some herbal and lightly spicy hops apparent and fair finishing bitterness. Light body with somewhat watery texture and sharp, pointy carbonation. Sampled on tap at Charlie’s Bar in Copenhagen.

A yellow beer with a disappearing white head. The aroma is quite hoppy but also with notes of corn, and hints of straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of corn and malt, leading to a dry hoppy end. Get the corn out of my beer.

A yellow beer with a beutiful head. The aroma is sour because of the brewing cereal used - not very inviting. The flavor is dominated by the taste of the brewing cereal and ends off quite weak before the nice bitterness sets in. An OK beer but nothing more than that.
