1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 Ungstrup (26476) - Citizen of the universe, - SEP 14, 2005A yellow beer with a disappearing white head. The aroma is quite hoppy but also with notes of corn, and hints of straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of corn and malt, leading to a dry hoppy end. Get the corn out of my beer. Earlier Rating: 11/24/2002 Total Score: 2.1 A yellow beer with a beutiful head. The aroma is sour because of the brewing cereal used - not very inviting. The flavor is dominated by the taste of the brewing cereal and ends off quite weak before the nice bitterness sets in. An OK beer but nothing more than that.

330 ml bottle. Clear pale yellow colour, tiny white head. Simple malty aroma with a hint of grassy hops. Malty flavour, with citrus and grassy notes, and a mild hoppy finish. Drinkable, but forgettable.

Tap at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen. Poured a crystal clear amber with a round glass hugging head. The aroma is all malt and the flavour is not too dissimilar. It’s medium bitter and a little yeasty too. It’s fine as a thirst quencher, but not much else.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 StoutHead (250) - DENMARK - APR 12, 2013
On tap. Clear golden colour with a big white head. Aroma and taste of hops and malt. Slightly bitter. Just a notch above boring, but ultimately a pretty average pale lager. Does quench you thirst quite nicely, though.

Pale golden, no head. Not much aroma, sweet lager. Sweet hops, clean taste but not anything amazing.

On tap. Aroma of hops and malt. Golden yellow with huge white head. Nice slightly bitter flavour, well hopped, which raises this pale lager above most ordibary pale lagers.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Leighton (7182) - London, ENGLAND - SEP 25, 2012
Draft at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen. Pours clear, yellow-gold, effervescent with a weak, white foam head. Big cereal and doughy malt nose. Medium sweet flavor, lightly dry, with tons of crunchy cereal, light sweetness and hay. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Sweet, biscuity finish with more cereal, mild straw and floral bitters. Nice crispy cereal malts here. Very drinkable.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 JanLaursen (2218) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - AUG 26, 2012
From tap at private party. Golden with a white head. Aroma of Saaz hops, dough, grain. The taste is light sweet malty and quite hoppy, with grassy notes, a little citrus, and a slightly metallic, dry medium bitter finish. Not exactly a pale lager?
