This is a so-called "Nisseøl", a sweet beer for Christmas. It is just that, but I would not drink it everyday. A good drink at yearend, but not for everyday consumption.

Aug 28, 2008 Clear brown coloured with a huge off white head. Sweet and malty aroma. Flavour is very sweet and syrupy. Very sweet palate and finish.

All beers of this styule are quite sweet. But compared to other danish "hvidtøl", this is less sweet, more malty and has a distinct touch of saaz-bitterness.
Especially nice around christmas.

Feb 12, 2008 Bottle from Maria, thanks! Deep dark brown color. Malted milk aroma, slightly roasted. Sweet, sugary, milky flavor with some roast. Probably enjoyable after a long cycling tour.
