This is a so-called "Nisseøl", a sweet beer for Christmas. It is just that, but I would not drink it everyday. A good drink at yearend, but not for everyday consumption.

Sweet muesli aroma. Grainy and very sweet taste. A bit of cardboard. Too sweet - please ferment this!

Clear brown coloured with a huge off white head. Sweet and malty aroma. Flavour is very sweet and syrupy. Very sweet palate and finish.

I like this! All beers of this styule are quite sweet. But compared to other danish "hvidtøl", this is less sweet, more malty and has a distinct touch of saaz-bitterness. Especially nice around christmas.

Bottle from Maria, thanks! Deep dark brown color. Malted milk aroma, slightly roasted. Sweet, sugary, milky flavor with some roast. Probably enjoyable after a long cycling tour.
