abemorsten (3083) - Mosterøy, NORWAY - MAR 29, 2015
0,33 l flaske.

Bottle. Pours dark red color with medium head, which actually exist quite long. In aroma some chocolate, dark fruits, rum and grass. Flavor: cheery, porto, toast. Some cask character in aftertaste. Malty. Not too sweet for bock. Good beer.

geophagus (518) - Lubin, POLAND - JAN 4, 2015
(Bottle 0.33 l / half of a bottle) Deep copper colou with ruby flashes. Small rapidly falling, beige foam. Medium body, soft carbonation, oily texture. Aroma is sweet, with notes of toasted malt, caramel, dark sugar, dried fruits, prunes and rasins. Taste: Medium to strong sweetness, caramel, dark sugar, moderate alcohol warming in finish. Medium long lasting aftertaste is sweet and a bit toasted. Avarage strong bock, good balance between alcohol and sweetness but nothing special.

Copper body, head vanished at once. Caramel and dark candies to the nose. Taste with dark caramel, booze, dark fruits. Smooth enough on palate. Soft finish with dark fruits blended in caramel malts. Not bad really. [33cl brown bottle, 9.5%abv, BB01.08.14]

En ganska stabil och bra öl. Smakar rätt bra och den kostar ju inte så mycket heller ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Weirdly enough, the dark version of this beer seems lighter than the light version. Or maybe that is just because I drank this one after the other... Anyway I like this one better.

Desverger (3176) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUN 27, 2014
Bottle from SuperBest, CPH - dark brown pour with off-white head. Sweet malty and fruity aroma and taste, lots of dark fruit (raisin prominent), caramel, toffee, brown sugar, better than I was expecting.
