Bottle @ Kolding Vinhandel.
Pours a deep dark copper brown with a small, creamy, film head. Sweet aroma, light caramel, some slight roasted tones and a little grassy hops. Medium carbonation, okay mouthfeel. Flavour starts off as lightly vinious, okay caramel, some liquorice and raisins. Long, warming aftertaste with some grassy, spicy hops in the finish.

(on bottle) Beautiful dark brown with a small head, white. Great taste of caramels and semiroasted barley, I really enjoyed this beer, but coulden´t see why a dunkel should be so strong and in such a large bottle. I got freaking wasted drinking that thing in the sun. I see now it´s listed as a Doppelbock, maybe, but to me it has thse more malted and sweet flavours a dunkel has.

66cl bottle. Pours dark brown with a sprinkly fading head that leaves no lacings. Nose is sweet of sugar & roasted malts - quite ashy. Medium to thin & sticky palate. Taste has caramel & bread.! Not too keen on the ashyness & quite mediocre overall!!

A Mes rate: Bottle at Chris O’s Pre GBBF Tasting
Dark amber with a thin off white head. Thick malt with some clear caramel and a fairly bitter and floral finish. Slight alcohol showing in the aftertaste that I’m not too fond of but over all not bad.
