COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Balanced and Resinous. Midwestern malted barley provides a pedestal for you to experience the flavor and aroma of the citrusy Northwestern hops which are the showcase of Hangar 24’s version of a true classic. An American Pale Ale. Additional Information: What makes Hangar 24 Pale Ale special is its smoothness. Carefully selected hops added at just the right times during the brewing process, including post fermentation, give a deep hop flavor without the coarse bitterness that some associate with pale ale.

Draft @ brewery. Nose is spicy, hop-forward, but not a lot there. Flavor starts with a nice, piney hop profile, transitioning quickly to slightly toasted biscuity malt. As it warmed, the sweetness of the malts started to overtake the balance somewhat, but altogether a highly quaffable tasty brew.

Appearance: Pours an amber gold with an offwhite head. Aroma: Citrusy and dank. Taste: Bitter floral hop, caramel and burnt caramel. Finishes piney. Mouthfeel: Medium. Overall: Awesome drinking, refreshing and flavorful.

Rated from Keg I got for New Years. Pours a very clear golden color with a very nice head. Aroma is very nice and hoppy. Taste is malty and hoppy, very crisp. I could drink this stuff all day and will.....because I have a half keg left and its just me and my brother right now.

Bottle; poured a clear golden type color; not great lighting so not really sure. Aroma was very bready and earthy, with some citrus and hops. Very northwestern hoppy for me in the nose. Flavor was very earthy and fairly bitter for the style. In all honesty, the flavor featured was one I really didn’t dig. Not too good for me.

Served from a 12 oz bottle courtesy of Craig. Pour a nice golden orange hue. The flavors and aromas are pale malts with a slightly above average hop bunch. The hop flavors are well balanced and not bitter. A solid pale ale.

Pours a deep yellow. Nose is pine and sweet malts. Some yeast. Flavor is a sharp pine resin bitterness, sweet smooth malts. Reminds me of pliny at times. Very good Pale. Insanely drinkable. This could be my go to pale ... to bad they aren’t in FL. I originally rated this as the IPA. From my notes, I didn’t think that there was any way this was just a Pale. Impressive.

Cask at the brewery. Rating #1 and the very first cask beer that H24 has produced. Love the way cask beer looks, nice gold color with that fantastic cascading action and a rich full creamy white head. Aroma was very fragrant, sweetness from the honey and a beautiful hop presence. Creamy mouthfeel, light sweetness from the honey and a nice hoppiness, good stuff. (1038)

Big hop presence, but does not assault the taste buds. Very nice head, coats the glass all the way down. A beer you could drink all day. Brilliant!

Another from Hophead22, thanks again! Pours a clear golden-orange color with an inch thick, fluffy off-white head that slowly receded and left some rings of lacing. Aroma of floral, resinous hops with some light hints of soft citrus (orange, tangerine) complimented with a touch of faint caramel. A lightly sweet entry quickly gives way to a crisp, dry floral hoppiness that presents some light, spicy pine notes that are paired with some soft citrus notes that linger into the moderately dry finish. Moderate carbonation and crisp bite on the palate. Overall, a simple, enjoyable pale ale that is probably better than the score I am giving it because I didn’t drink this bottle sooner. I will have to try to get a fresher bottle and re-rate.

Bottled sample. Golden color, stable head, a nice soft flavor, nothing overdone. Some hops on initial drink, mellows alot, with malt coming through as well, nice balance, some pine, grass, pepper. Good one!
