COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Balanced and Resinous. Midwestern malted barley provides a pedestal for you to experience the flavor and aroma of the citrusy Northwestern hops which are the showcase of Hangar 24’s version of a true classic. An American Pale Ale. Additional Information: What makes Hangar 24 Pale Ale special is its smoothness. Carefully selected hops added at just the right times during the brewing process, including post fermentation, give a deep hop flavor without the coarse bitterness that some associate with pale ale.

"A nice easy drinking and balanced pale. Blasts of citrus contasted with light bready and caramel. Light bodied, but with ample flavor and a surprising subtle complexity. Godd brew."

12oz bottle from hophead22.....pours a mostly clear light amber brown with a thin wispy white soapy head..... aroma of bready malt and light citrus hops. not too much goin for it.....flavors are equally hop and malt based. citrusy hops meld with biscuity malts. slight bitterness in the finish. somewhat sweet in nature overall. medium carbonation and goes down pretty well.

Bottle; poured a clear golden type color; not great lighting so not really sure. Aroma was very bready and earthy, with some citrus and hops. Very northwestern hoppy for me in the nose. Flavor was very earthy and fairly bitter for the style. In all honesty, the flavor featured was one I really didn’t dig. Not too good for me.

On tap at the brewery. It pours gold with a white head. The aroma is citrus, grass, and hints of tropical sweetness. The flavor is light with a strong citrusy, grassy, orange hop finish. A bit light on the palate.

bottle from hophead22 aka TIM. Thanks tim! Pours a clear amber with a foamy beige head. Really nice floral hop aroma, with some bread, and some citrusy hops. flavor is citrus, earthy, grass. loved the initial aroma, but it faded fast. very smooth. seems nice enough

Tap at brewpub and bottle from their awesome mix 12 pk-June 2012-pours lite orange with a smooth sudsy white head. nose is lite floral hops clean cereal-smells more like a hoppy golden ale than a pale. hops are more punchy on tap than in the bottle however, most everything holds together in both samples as being the same. flavors of crisp floral hop notes, clean cereal, lite bitterness more hop flavor than bitterness here. a very solid little pale here-lots of hops yet lite and crisp without big bitterness. good stuff!

I had this on tap at Hangar 24 in Redlands. Good malt & hop balance up front, witha bit of dry finish.

Tap @ Hamilton’s Tavern. Pours a clear deep golden color with a one finger thick white head that left some spotty lacing. Nice nose of light hops, grass and cereal grains. Flavor was crisp and malty with a light hop bitterness.

Cask at the brewery. Rating #1 and the very first cask beer that H24 has produced. Love the way cask beer looks, nice gold color with that fantastic cascading action and a rich full creamy white head. Aroma was very fragrant, sweetness from the honey and a beautiful hop presence. Creamy mouthfeel, light sweetness from the honey and a nice hoppiness, good stuff. (1038)

Big hop presence, but does not assault the taste buds. Very nice head, coats the glass all the way down. A beer you could drink all day. Brilliant!
