COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Rich and decadent. This strong porter is perfect for sipping at the end of the day or to accompany full-flavored foods. The intense, roasty flavor comes from two types of chocolate malt and raw cocoa nibs. Whole vanilla beans introduced post fermentation add complexity and enhance the dessert-like qualities of this full bodied beer. Indulge yourself! Additional Information: This beer began life as our Panamanian Porter with the flavors of chocolate, vanilla and banana. A truly unique beer, we felt that all those flavors needed some smoothing out so we changed yeast strains and eliminated the banana flavor (Which came from the yeast strain). The Panamanian Porter did have many fans however, and there may be plans in the future to bring it back for a special occasion. Stay tuned…

From a bottle pours a nice rich brown with somewhat thin tan head. Aroma has a nice roasted, somewhat smoky character to it. Rich chocolate flavor with a bit of raisin and malt. Mouthfeel is fairly rich with a bit of alcohol in the finish. Overall very nice.

22 ounce thanks to Jose. Chocolate. Cocoa. Vanilla. Body is thing. Taste reminds me a bit of a thinner Southern Tier Chokolat, which is good since this beer is drinkable by yourself. Very decent.

Shared by Reg. Pours a clear light brown color with a thin tan head. Aroma has chocolate, coffee, roast and berries. Taste is semi-sweet and a little roast. Thin bodied with a dry, roast finish. Not bad.

Black body with a little white head. Chocolate aroma. Dry serviceable porter. A sipper as dry and bitter chocolate. Bit above average mouthfeel. My bottle, brought back from top of the year LA trip.

Thanks Reg! for the the bomber. One of best Porters I’ve had, or should I say flavored Porter. Anyway, very enjoyable. Dark with a long lasting lite tan head. Big flavors, roasty malts with dominating chocolate and vanilla in the background. A mild sweetness and very smooth with good palate.

Bottle from Hi Time in Costa Mesa. Aroma and flavor were definitely a chocolate porter, but had quite a thin palate for my taste. Well made beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Mellow with a hint of espresso. Not as good as southern tier but does the job at an average bar.
