This is one of my favorite IPA ever. The aroma has a strong hop note with a hint of citrus. Taste amazing

Aroma is spicy and fruity. Pours a cloudy bright orangish gold with a medium head that has good retention. Taste is fruity followed by some malt and then a bitter and alcoholic finish. Its a solid beer but Iíve had better, maybe a bit one dimensional.

Very solid IPA. Reliably hoppy and bittersweet. This beer ranks among the Union Jacks and Just Outstandings of the world.

tap and bottles from mix 12pk-Tap room sample June 2012-I love this place i have to say off the bat. perfect brewpub environment and really cool people. Pours lite hazy orange with no head-very little head. nose is sweet citrus rinds mostly-tangerines and oranges. flavors have a bit of green apple-hmmmm not infected is it? good hop profile but just bad in that first flavor. long citric finish decent in the bottle it is exactly the same as the tap. lots of unripe citrus and not very bitter if you ask me. decent but needs a few tweaks.

12/11/11 notes: Color is lightly hazy gold-orange, good lasting white lacing. Juicy citrus, grapefruit, aromatic flowers. Nice firm bitterness, great balanced body and semi-dry finish. Great west-coast fresh IPA.

Weak smell not much going on. Dark amber color. Taste dry bit of pinyness. After taste attacks your palate with the Columbus hops. Better than average overall

22 ounce thanks to Jose. Malty caramel IPA. Toffee and sweet, some brown sugar. Copper body. Not a West Coast hop bomb by any means. Columbus delivers bit of citrus but not intense as expected.

22oz bomber pours slightly hazy copper with light tan head. The aroma is full of yummy spicy hops rimmed by little bits of grapefruit and then a touch of cherry hard candy. The taste is yummy spicy hops running head long into a mild level of cherry hard candy like esteriness as well as notes of slivers of malt sweetened floral like hops. I wonder if this has been on the shelf for a bit longer than expected. ISO the freshest sample possible to see if it differs from what Iím drinking now. Iím a sucker for a good spicy hopped brew and this one is really good but isnít blowing me way like many others have. I find the sort of sweet hard cherry candy note distracting.
