COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bitter and bold. This single hop american style IPA features 100 percent Columbus Hops for an intense citrus, floral and spicy aroma and flavor. Five different malts form the rich backbone that balances the hops’ 77 IBUs. The resinous mouthfeel is followed by a clean, dry hopped finish that refreshes and satisfies. Additional Information: Delve into this beer and you are going to see the complexities that this highly hopped beer has to offer. Grapefruit, orange, lemon, and flower essences are just a few flavors/aromas you are sure to find.

22 oz bottle. Hazy amber with a foamy beige head. Aroma of grapefruit, caramel, grass and pine. Flavor of sweet caramel malt, medium bitter hops and light cereal grain. Medium body with average carbonation and a sticky, sweet mouth feel. Overall a solid IPA, a bit on the sweet side for me though.

22 oz. bottle from Hophead22. Pours a slightly hazy golden amber color with a medium plus off white head. The nose has a big fruity citrus component, grapefruit, with a base of toasted bread and caramel malts. The flavor doesn’t have the same fruity burst as the nose. Grapefruit pith, earthy, pine, decent bitterness with toasted caramel dipped bread. Good body and mouth feel. A pretty solid IPA.

Bomber. The pour yields a hazy, dark, dusky brownish-orange body with a thick, frothy, beige tinted head. Pronounced, bubbly lacing clings hard to the glass, fading into a dense edge around the surface. The nose is quite bright, fresh, and hoppy, showing notes of grapefruit pith, lemon rind, and pine over a base of caramelized and toasty bread grain. If I close my eyes I get a hint of rye as well. Flavors are biting and pithy, quite bitter in fact, again showing loads of grapefruit pith, grass, and resin. Malts are prominent as well, quite bready and biscuity, bouncing back and forth between sweet and dry. The palate is moderate in body and carbonation, dragging across the palate a bit and finishing with lingering sticky hops. Overall, a nice IPA, but it has its share of flaws.

On tap at The Bruery Provisions bar and store. Cloudy yellow body with a good soapy head. The IBU is up there, but its just OK to drink. Competent for the style.

Bottle shared by alexsdad06. Poured a clear dark copper color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate citrus and earthy aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where exceeded.

Not quite the hop character I was looking for from a cali brewer. More earthly that grapefruit. Solid brew

Bottle. Pours a hazy orange color with a decent white head. Light springy hops. Can definitely sense the Columbus hops. Light, tangy hoppy taste. Goes down real well. Light, dry finish with a little tart zing.
