Bomber from Bine & Vine. Pours dark brown with ruddy glints and a creamy tan head. Aroma is primarily pie spice. Med body. Flavor is chocolate, dark malt and pie spice. Might be a veg hint. Veg isn’t my forte. Overall it’s tasty and rather out of the seasonal mainstream. Nice stuff.

Mahogany colored pour with a khaki head. Really heavy cinnamon sugar and ginger aromas. Some sweet brown sugar, toffee, and toast. A light roasted quality, some nutmeg, and roasted malts. The flavor is also very heavy on the cinnamon qualities. A lot of brown sugar, some nutmeg, plenty of all spice, hints of roast and chocolate, and a light ginger bite on the finish. Only moderate malt sweetness.

On tap. I feel that they have brewed this beer before with a different name. Pours with a near black hue with a small tan head. Aromas are roasty, molasses, pumpkin seeds, earthy. Light spice, some chocolate. Flavors are dry, roasty, chocolate, light spice, a touch vegital. Very earthy. Some sweet molasses.

Tap at H24. Great foam, deep amber brown pour. Great lacing. Excellent spiced pumpkin pie nose, rich and authentic. Taste is solid, nice spiced medley, somewhat chalky finish. Slight lemon, somewhat watery. Solid, impressive pumpkin beer. Simple. Not sticky or boozy or cinnamon dusty.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle at jtclockwork’s place for a tasting. Pours a mostly clear brown with a thin beige head. Big spicy gingerbread on the nose, roast and a bit of bakers cocoa. Medium bodied, spicy malt and toast, pie spices, warm roast and malt. A bit of alcohol peeks through. Chocolate and cocoa linger over pie spices into the finish. Interesting and tasty.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle:   Deep brown, dark, moderate frothy beige head, dies quickly, spotty lacing.   Soft roasted malt, but mainly a nice cinnamon and nutmeg collaboration.   Very fresh and bright.   Spicy up front, cinnamon, nutmeg, with a nice roasted malt aspect.   Very well balanced between the roastiness and the spices.   Probably one of the better Porter examples of a spiced ale that I have had in a long time.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Clean finish, bright cinnamon and nutmeg on top of sweet soft roasted malts.   Not a bitter nor overly malty example, well balanced, and a damn treat to drink!
