This beer combines the rich, roasty flavors of a porter with those found in a traditional pumpkin pie. The complex aroma practically jumps from the glass. An intriguing mix of chocolate and spice… The flavor is robust with notes of dark chocolate, pumpkin pie and a caramel sweetness accentuated by a generous addition of molasses to the boil. The interplay of the cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and allspice gives this beer a very pleasant finish. Additional Information: The pumpkins used in this brew were grown at Larry Jacinto farms right down the street from the brewery. We were very excited when Larry told us that he had a great crop of pumpkins growing literally ½ mile from the brewery. Once the pumpkins were seeded and quartered, we teamed up with the Gourmet Pizza shop in downtown Redlands to utilize their giant pizza oven to help roast all that pumpkin. This beer was a true community effort!

On tap at H24. Dark ruby red color. Deep cinnamon aroma with some roasted chocolates and pumpkin scents. Tastes of dark chocolate, strong cinnamon maybe some allspice, thick molasses malts. Cinnamon and coffee linger on the palate. Excellent brew. Definitely a great way to get into the fall months. Hope this one is around for years to come

Deep mahogany body with a nice burnt beige cream layered of head. Thick cinnamon nose with some allspice and nutmeg wound in. Again, cinnamon dominates the flavor, and is joined by nutmeg and allspice, all massaged across smooth, black malts. Overall, a bit too heavy-handed on the spicing.

Draft. Pours near black with a beige head. Sweet malts and mild roasted malts, some pumpkin spices, and lighter bitterness. Balanced and quite drinkable.

Pours murky brown with a light beige head. Aroma is cinnamon, nutmeg. Afraid this could be another pumpkin spice covering a mediocre base beer. Yeah, kind of. Can’t detect any flaws, but the base caramel malt is overpowered by cinnamon, nutmeg spice.

Tap at Public House - Temecula. Pours black with a medium, frothy beige head, short retention with good lacing. Aroma is nutmeg, cinnamon, and vanilla, and toast malt. Flavor is toast and chocolate malt, light pumpkin pie spices and a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.

Deep brown in color with a rich head. Toasted malts and spice are a mild but pleasant combination. Not overpowering. Good balance. A respectable fall beer.

This poured a darker brown with a beige head. Aroma was of roasted malt, like Belgian yeast, and pumpkin flesh. Flavor was more fleshy than spicey, mainly a belgianesque Porter though.

Dark brown pour with small cream colored head. Aroma of malts, caramel, pumpkin, nutmeg, allspice and faint chocolate. Taste of toffee, vanilla, chocolate, caramel, nutmeg, cinnamon, pumpkin and bread dough. Full bodied, creamy mouthfeel, poorly balanced. A little cloying on the finish as well.

Pours a walnut-dark color. Light lacing, moderate, stable head. Interesting veggie-like aroma. Taste is mostly roasted pumpkin seeds, pretty good! Heavy mouthfeel, long aftertaste, long. Pretty good beer, the wife loved it!
