Sample at Kinetic Brewing Company. Cloudy bright yellow-gold pour with a medium white head that diminishes steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of wheat, apricot and herbs. Medium body with flavors of yeast, apricots and bready malt. The finish is fruity with an apricot and yeast aftertaste. Decent all around.

Bottle: Pale straw, extremely hazy, thick, moderate to large frothy white head, spotty lacing. Fruity nose, seems like Apricot or even immature peach. Not as bright as I was hoping tho. Big wheaty mouthfeel, sweet, soft fruitiness that at this time seems a bit non-descript. It doesn’t scream Apricot to me. However, as it warms it becomes a bit more apparent. Because of its big wheatiness, this one is fairly full bodied. Backside is clean, lingering Apricot, albeit a bit subtle. Very surprised to see this is 7.2% as it doesn’t drink like it at all. Thanks Ron for the bottle!

22-oz.bomber into a pint glass at my house on Dec. 1, 2012 (purchased for $4.99 at Bine and Vine in Kensington (San Diego, Calif.) on Nov. 29, 2012. Hazy straw grapefruit with a finger of light gray head that dissipated very quickly. No retention on the top or on the sides.
Smelled apricot, peach, pear, sour fruit, wheat, lemon grass, honey and some skunkiness.
Tasted similar to the nose. Got sour fruit, tart fruit, apricot, pear, peach, lemon grass and still that slight bit of skunkiness.
Light body. Thin texture. Fizzy (high) carbonation. Abrupt finish.
Decent beer overall. Probably about what I expected, but I’d have it again.

Champagne like pour with light carbonation. Sweet peach and wheat aroma, Flat fruity starts out fruity peachy but then ends with a messy malt aftertaste.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 J_man (553) - Tustin, California, USA - NOV 9, 2012
Wheat beer aroma with a touch of ripe fruit. Cloudy pale yellow with a soapy white head. Smooth witbier taste with a nice touch of orange and apricot and a mild tart/sourness. Reminds me a lot of their Orange Wheat beer with a bit more fruit. The extra alcohol is completely hidden. Delicious and refreshing.

Lots of apricots! Clean wheaty finish. Super easy drinking. I saw no flaws in this beer and quite enjoyed it.

Bottle from kasey, thanks! This one pours cloudy golden yellow with am ally white head. Nose is grainy, toasty, fruity, light citrus, sweet fruit and maybe some spiciness. Flavor is sweeter than the nose suggests. Again grainy malts, spices, fruits, toasted malts and spices either from yeast or malt or whatever. Evidently that’s an apricot flavor of fruit that I’m tasting. Medium body. Medium low carbonation. Full and alternatively flavored brew which makes it interesting. Glad to have tried this one.

The appearance of his beer is amazing and the true color of ripe apricots. However the taste was very disappointing, as I picked up no apricot favors in this wheat beer. I will stick to drinking the Samuel Smith Apricot in the future.
