4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20 markwise (2683) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - FEB 5, 2012
12oz bottle courtesy of Cavery. Cheers, Chris! Pours a very hazy yellow with a white head. Nose is everything it promises- orange and wheat. I get navel orange and a bit of wheat along with some bread and orange pith. Flavor is similar with oranges, orange pith, and fresh-picked oranges with a hit of wheat as well. Light, crisp, and refreshing, the crack of session beers, in that I really cannot get enough of this. This stuff is almost essential to living in Florida. Love it; one of my favorite wheat beers.

a - Very witbier-esque yeast profile - a tad bit of the bologna smell you get from primary w/a witbier strain. Also a definite orange zest and juice smell.
a- A great looking beer. Nice golden orange hue with a decent head the slips down to a covering over the top of the beer. Some minor lacing. As you are drinking it.
T - There are definitely fresh oranges used in this. This is a "fruit beer" so I shouldn’t expect subtlety, but I guess I did? It tends to be a tad pithy with some of that bitterness. The base malt has a really nice light cracker or biscuit-ness to it.
P - Great wheat beer feel, but it is a tad light. I would like a little more chewiness.
O - Easy to drink beer - I really like the after taste of this one. The initial is not my favorite but a few seconds after the swallow the nice biscuit flavor is a solid touch. A very approachable beer and would be a nice summer enjoyment. Just might not be my favorite style.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 StefanSD (1539) - Lakeside, California, USA - JAN 6, 2012
650 ml bottle from bev4less. Pours a cloudy yellow color with a small white head that slowly recedes to a film. The aroma is mild with faint oranges and lemons. The flavor is rather undistinguished with mild citrus and is backed by bready malts. The palate is full and creamy with lively carbonation. The finish is short and dry. Overall: Meh, not much going on here. It is not until I belch, and the flavor of that belch comes up oranges, that I really appreciate the citrus. This beer gets an extra point as the best belcher so far this year.

12oz bottle from Secret Santa. Hazy straw yellow pour with a pillowy white head. Aroma was very fresh and orangy with your typical yeastiness from a wheat. Nicely done. Flavors were crisp, fruity and refreshing. A lot more orange than I was expecting going in. They captured the essence of the orange well. This remained light and extremely drinkable from start to finish. Excellent stuff.

Bomber from my Secret Santa, Saarlander - thanks, Aaron! Very pale gold pour, almost like a Berliner with a more fluffy head. Nose is very fruit, but not in the syrupy sense. Rather, it smells of very ripe orange and potent rind. Prickly mouthfeel, light on the palate. Very modest yeast and dry hops to taste, and the base beer certainly won’t wow you with its personality. But the intense organic citrus does satisfy.

Very clean beer, notable but light citrusy, light sweetness, lively, beer to drink when its hot outside. Great flavor. good amount of bubbles. Descent amount of alcohol. 15+ beer drinker. Not a "fruit" beer drinker but this one is worth trying.
