ORANGE WHEAT Crisp, Tart, and Refreshing. Whole locally grown oranges added throughout the brewing process perfectly compliment this unfiltered wheat and barley based beer. Our oranges are purchased through the Old Grove Orange company (affiliate of the non-profit Inland Orange Conservancy) whose main objectives are to save the local orange trees from disappearing, spread the word about the local citrus growing heritage, and to feed the hungry with the unutilized oranges. Please visit them at www.inlandorange.org. All we need to do to save the orange trees is to eat locally grown oranges!

It smells... orangy and wheaty. :) One thing very unique thing about this is that it’s the most opaque light colored beer I’ve ever seen! Light to medium yellow and almost looks like it has orange juice in it. The wheat gives it a lightly creamy body, but it’s thin overall. The taste is as straightforward as the aroma, wheat malty/breadiness and distinct but not overpowering orange flavors. Finishes.... orangy and wheaty. Very easy drinking beer but also a very enjoyable light fruit beer that truly lives up to it’s name.

Bomber from Saarlander for the RB fantasy hockey pool. Pours a cloudy grapefruit juice color with a thin white head. Aroma has wheat, biscuit, and orange. Taste is sweet with orange and quite reminiscent of alcoholic Orangina. Mouthfeel is quite full. Refreshing.

Bottle. Cloudy gold pour. Inch white head. Aroma is orange blossom and orange rind. Taste is a little bitter with a lot of orange and a flavor that I cannot quite describe that has been present in all of the American Wheat Ales I have had. Finish is sweet. Level of carbonation is low and body is medium.

Alright. A good, citrus smell. Unfortunately, Taste is a little artificial. Citrus, but tastes like artificial flavoring. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
