ORANGE WHEAT Crisp, Tart, and Refreshing. Whole locally grown oranges added throughout the brewing process perfectly compliment this unfiltered wheat and barley based beer. Our oranges are purchased through the Old Grove Orange company (affiliate of the non-profit Inland Orange Conservancy) whose main objectives are to save the local orange trees from disappearing, spread the word about the local citrus growing heritage, and to feed the hungry with the unutilized oranges. Please visit them at www.inlandorange.org. All we need to do to save the orange trees is to eat locally grown oranges!

[Tap] Hazy straw colored pour with a fizzy white head. Aromas of orange pith, lemons and lighter grains. Flavors include more orange, grapefruit, grainy notes, clove and frothy sherbet. Highly carbonated. Relatively light in body. Refreshing.

I love the orange aroma. Great drinkability on a hot day. Now I just have to find it in the store.

Pours a pale hazy yellow with a thin white head with some lacing. Arp If of tart freshly squeezed orange juice, wheat bread, biscuit malts, and orange peels. Taste orange peels and juice, biscuity malts, wheat, and some sweet malts. Has a medium-light body with a slighty watery mouthfeel and an most sweet, dry, easy drinking, short, crisp, refreshing finish. Overall, a very drinkable and unique beer that is deccently tasty and a pretty nice hot summer beer.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy yellow with a finger of head. Aroma is sour and somewhat grassy. Tastes like orange peel, juice made from not-quite-ripe oranges (I have an orange tree and have done this by accident a few times), biscuits. A little more sour than I thought it would be. Light crisp mouthfeel and kind of a strange orange juice from concentrate aftertaste. Not a bad summer beer.

12 oz bottle poured into a Spiegelau tulip. Cloudy orange yellow with a finger of off-white head. Aromas of orange fruit and zest, light wheat. Tastes of oranges, citrus peel, wheat, lemons. Medium-light body with a semi-dry finish. Almost reminds me of a shandy.

On tap at Pour 24 in the New York, New York, Las Vegas. Displayed a cloudy, orangey straw tone, with frothy, persistent, soft white head foam, and silky, wavy cling to the lacing. The nose was mainly light grain/wheat, and ripened orange pulp. Light bodied, with an almost seltzery effervescence to the lively carbonation, the taste offered no real sweetness, but better orange expression than the aroma, low to no hop bitterness, lemony tartness, and some pleasant dryness that led to a fairly crisp finish. Not necessarily my thing, but a tasty change of pace.
