1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 5/20 dukeredhair (234) - California, USA - JUL 6, 2012
I’d heard good things about this. NOPE. Aroma is skunk and bread almost no orange. Appearance is yellowish with almost no head (from tap) cloudy. Taste is aroma but a sharp sourness that I can only assume is supposed to be citrus? Doesn’t taste like citrus and doesn’t taste like a lacto sourness, not refreshing at all. Palate is one of the better points here and it might actually have to do with that weird sourness. Quite dry for a wheat beer which I appreciated. Other than that though I am definitely not going tobe drinking this again.

Bottle thanks to joetheyounger, thanks Joe! Pours a hazy light golden with a thick white head, the aroma has tad bit of must mixed in with the orange and yeast notes, the flavor has a good amount of coriander on the front end with a yeasty orange finish, pretty light and refreshing.

22 ounce thanks to Jose. Orange and wheat as advertised. Though orange is not dominant. More in the nose than body. Refreshing for a hot day like today. Sessionable.

Pours a golden orange, thin white head. Aroma filled with orange peals. The orange peels overpower the beer. I wouldn’t mind drinking it on a hot day in San Diego :)

Very light orangish pour and quite hazy. Aroma has tons of orange peel and some spices and wheat. Flavor is floral and loaded with oranges and spice. Good on a hot day.
2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 jgb9348 (3970) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - MAY 30, 2012
Super hazy golden coloured body with a honey glow and a thin one centimetre tall white head. Aroma of oranges, curacao, cardamom, coriander seed, wheat and a bunch of yeast. Light-bodied; Creamy, slightly soapy flavour at first with some oranges, orange peel (curacao) and yeast flavours the strongest. Aftertaste is a bit funky from the malt which overpowers everything and is left creamy with a fruity, funky sweet flavour. Overall, an interesting beer - looks great and smells good, but from there on out, it just gets worse. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Super Junior Market (BestDamnBeer Shop) in San Diego, California on 06-May-2012 for US$2.19 sampled at home in Washington on 29-May-2012.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 BrewDad (4256) - Olympia, USA - MAY 19, 2012
Light amber orange in color, slight haze with a thin head. Decent amount of honey and fruit aroma. Light fruit flavor more wheat comes through. I was hoping for more fruit flavor. There is a slight tartness in the finish.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 J_man (540) - Tustin, California, USA - MAY 19, 2012
It smells... orangy and wheaty. :) One thing very unique thing about this is that it’s the most opaque light colored beer I’ve ever seen! Light to medium yellow and almost looks like it has orange juice in it. The wheat gives it a lightly creamy body, but it’s thin overall. The taste is as straightforward as the aroma, wheat malty/breadiness and distinct but not overpowering orange flavors. Finishes.... orangy and wheaty. Very easy drinking beer but also a very enjoyable light fruit beer that truly lives up to it’s name.
