On tap at the brewery. Pours with an inky black hued body with a lasting tan head. Aromas are spicy, barrel dominant, oaky, currant, wood, brown sugar, spicy, lots of vanilla. Flavors are spicy and very barrel forward. Almost a touch harsh in the barrel character. Big, boozy, cocoa, very dry. Medium bodied, lots of alcohol, pencil shaving like tannins, fuller carbonation. Dry for how monstrously big it is!
