Bortled. Thx Stig Pale golden with a small, brief head. Spunky aroma. Strange gunpowder flavour along with cardboard and boiled vegetables.

I believe this was a 0.33L bottle. The aroma was slightly grassy, with a bit of malt. Flavor had a surprising sweetness at the beginning, before settling back into a more typical pale lager profile. Overall it’s mainly memorable because it’s from Vietnam.

Bottle from Loon Fung London. Clear golden yellow, small white head. Malty, slightly sweet, flavours of canned sweetcorn, more sweet-like flavours I cant identify. Weird.

Bottle 330ml @ Wraps & Rolls, Berlin
Pours clear pale yellow with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, rice and floral. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

jackl (5503) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - JUL 11, 2013
Bottle at some mediocre pho joint on Mare St, Hackney. The pour’s gold with a tiny head. The nose isn’t particularly agreeable. Cheap bottom shelf white bread. Skunk. Paper. A nicely aged pale lager, this is. The taste is adjuncts, syrupy sweetness. Newspaper. Light body, quite fizzy. Overall, this has none of the vulgar charms of a quality cheap pale lager. Definitely not poundable stuff.

had this both in vietnam and in spain in a vietnamese restaurant. pours a clear golden colour with small white head. aroma is of malts and is not offensive. prefer this to saigon beer. taste is refreshing but not at all complex just like many generic lagers.

Pours a golden beer with a not very long lasting head. Smells pretty standard. A bit sweet. Taste is little sweet too. Not so special.

Bottle shared with McTapps. Smelles like basmati rice and has even a bit of taste in it. Bit dull, bit skunky but at the end quite drinkable. Nothing for a beer gourmet but as a last resort.

Clear light golden colour with low head and medium body. Nose of Asia supermarket, rice and sake. Taste of malt, rice, mild hops, light barley, basement and dust. Easy to drink, but little bit too sweetish and average.
