2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
I believe this was a 0.33L bottle. The aroma was slightly grassy, with a bit of malt. Flavor had a surprising sweetness at the beginning, before settling back into a more typical pale lager profile. Overall it’s mainly memorable because it’s from Vietnam.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
330ml bottle as ’Habeco Hanoi Beer’, 5.1% BB June 2016. With rice, E316 and E1201. Clear dark yellow, lightly sparkling, small white head, dotted lacing. Aroma is sugars, rice paper, touch of solvent. Body is medium, smooth, tingly carbonation. Taste is chalky, rice, papery, tangy tonic water. Plain, and not overly drinkable for the style.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hanoi Beer is a little atypical Asian lager, separating itself from the crowd by having a somewhat different hop profile. Floral aroma, which becomes almost perfumed, rises from the glass and leaves no other fragrance impression. Malt is fairly satisfactory and the expected hop bitterness is relieved of this floral flavors with very dry aftertaste.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from the best phở restaurant in Hanoi, nhà hàng bún cha.
Sunny, medium gold with a tight and tidy, mostly lasting white head. Sweet malt and peppery hop nose, very clean and simple. Softly grainy, straw flavour to an otherwise bitter, hoppy and crisp lager. Very light, very delicate in profile. Carbonation is high especially short of chilled. A lot of swirling the glass between sips. Finish is clean. Streamlined, subtle, balanced and highly drinkable. Not bad!! (33cL, Hanoi, Vietnam)

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Sweet and refreshing taste. Very lackluster in smell and not very fizzy but because of how light it is it does go down nice.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
BB 180515. Poured a clear pale amber with 5mm of white foam for a head that diminished quickly to a collar. Laced poorly. Carbonation low. Aroma of malt, yeast and no obvious hops. Taste of malt, sweet malt and a moderate but artificial/chemical bitterness. Light body. Finish with a lingering artificial bitterness. Crisp while cold but taste gets worse as it warms.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Jest niemal identyczne jak Bia Ha Noi. Słodko kwaśny aromat. Słomkowa barwa, z niezłą pianą i szczątkami lacingu. W smaku nieco stęchły, duszący. W posmaku zostaje ta dusząca nuta. Ogólnie kiepsko słodowo.

2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
UPDATED: DEC 16, 2014 330ml bottle served in a Weizen glass.
A: Pours a pale yellow clear color forming a big white, bubbled and aired head. Minimal retention and only very few lacings left
S: Sweet grains upfront. Adjunct malts, mainly. The arome hops used reminded me... Piss! Really! I’m not kidding. Lager bready yeasts
T: As bad as the smell. Adjunct malts. Notes of plastic (?!), corn, "pissy" and citrus hops. Bready Lager yeasts
M: Very light body. Medium carbonation. Horrible artificial aftertaste
O: No drinkability. As far as I can remember, I’ve never gave 1 to drinkability: Congratulations!
