Beer traditionally is perishable fresh produce.

At Hanöversch we respect this, hence all vitamins remain in this special pilsener brew. The expiration date of three weeks gives consideration to the freshness of this produce. Hanöversch is designated for short-term consumption and needs to be stored at 4-6 °C.

We exclusively use controlled, ecological raw materials and are a contractual partner of the Bioland organisation. Not only these specially selected raw materials, but also the highly skilled brewery craftsmannship according to the German purity law, destinguish our beer and create its valued, wholehearted flavour.

Hanöversch is an "untergärig", unfiltered pilsener brew with 11,5% original wort and about 4,8% Vol. alc.. It is brewed exclusively at the Brauhaus in Hannover.

UPDATED: AUG 29, 2014 1l growler from the brewpub. From a gift.28-08-2014.
In short: malty pilsner.
Pours hazy dark gold with almost no head. Short head retention, no lacing. Unfortunatelly the growler seemed to lost almost all carbonation, ending a flat beer. Despite that, malt character noticed, enjoyable. Willing to try a really fresh one.

(on tap) Pale yellow, cloudy, with a nice white head that disappears quickly. Very yeasty aroma, slightly buttery, some grassy hops and notes of white toast. I would prefer more bitterness. Lightly sweet as well. Medium body, medium to soft carbonation. Hoppy aftertaste on the palate. Not very memorable, but quaffable.

On tap at the brewpub, served in the unfiltered style, so cloudy gold with a white clingy head and a little malt on the nose plus hints of citrus hops. Body is dry, fairly light, and lightly orangey, with yeast and grain notes coming through in the finish. Dry, grapefruity-bitter aftertaste. Quaffable.

Pretty neutral stuff here. Some caramel, grains and earthly notes. It’s ok but it’s not excellent.

Fra kran på bryggeripuben 8 Mar 12. Grapefruktfarget. Veldig uklar. Medium kremaktig skum. Aromaen er litt sitrus. Smaken er litt syrlig og vassen. Kjedelig.

Draft. A hazy yellow beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of hay and lemons on a lightly malty background. The flavor is sweet with notes of hay as well as lighter notes of malt and citrus fruits, leading to a bitter finish, where the hay note lingers. The body is light. Easily drinkable.

On tap from the brewpub june 24th 2011. Yellow, hazy with a ok white head. The aromas are sweet malty, corn and some citrus sences. Quite spes. bittersweet taste with a light sitrus ending, not a favourite beer but the brewpub is worth a visit.

Getrunken beim 1. BTO-Treffen. Bitterer Geruch. Test vom 30.12.2006, Gebinde: sonstiges Noten: 12,12,13,13,13,13 - 12,75
