Brown 330 ml bottle, abv 6.5%, b@Vinmonopolet. Light brown head, diminishing, but leaving some lacings. Dark red-brown clear body. Scents of whisky malt, cherries, coriander, ginger, apples, prunes, grilled raisins. Tastes roasted malt, prunes, mocca coffee, dark chocolate, cocoa, and furthest back some caramel or honey. Slightly over-carbonated, but mostly alright to palate. Smooth finish, but not so much taste by the end. Tasted@home with my dear Анна, зі моєю дружино& Ганною .

UPDATED: DEC 25, 2013 Pours a deep red with small disappearing off-white head. Small aroma of malt, sweet caramel and red fruit. Mouth feel is medium with too much carbonation. Short, fresh, sweet, watery and round aftertaste. Overall: Very boring.

NORSAND (22) - - DEC 21, 2013
2007 vintage. Dark coffee brown with a small head. Clear. Nose: Muted, the tiniest hint of some caramel malt. Taste & Palate: Medium body. Just a little sweetness but comes across as almost dry due to the acidity/freshness. Some dark/burned malt and coffee. Medium short and slightly bitter coffee aftertaste. Not terribly interesting. Probably also aged past it’s peak.

UPDATED: FEB 22, 2014 Old rating rerated 01.12.2013, 0,33l bottle (2012) @ home:
Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet, caramel malts, malt candy, nuts, dark sugar, hay, butterscotch, hints of chocolate and coffee. Taste is slightly sweet and oxidized, caramel malts, malt candy, butterscotch, nuts, toffee, grass, burnt caramel, hints of coffee. Medium bitterness. Nice enough, definately a lot better when aged for a year (or two).
