Tap. Golden beer with small white head. Pretty much looks like every other standard norwegian pale lager. A bit more aroma than many though, with caramel malt and a perfume of some sort. Taste is all grain , with an ok bitterness. Pretty thin feel.

Nothing special here, although this is one of the better fatøls (lit. draft/keg beer – in this case in a can) produced by a Norwegian macrobrew. Pours with a golden color and the aroma is decent, a bit malty. Taste is slightly bitter all the way through, but lacking in the dreadful aftertaste found in the Aass fatøl. I’d say this one is also a bit sweeter than other similarly styled beers. Fatøl is supposed have a fuller flavor and creamier than other lagers and I think Hansa managed to pull this off. While there is simply nothing exiting here, this might be refreshing on a warm summer day.

Can 500ml. Pours clear, very light yellow with white diminishing head. Aroma is very weak malts, almost nothing. Flavor is almost as vacant, hint of grassy hops and perhaps some caramel malt if you can find it. Very watery, soft carbonation.

courtesy of Peter Ens; canned - clear and pale golden colour with a poor white foam left; oily grassy aroma; medium-bodied and with an oily palate; some late tartness and a low bitterness; oily grassy finish - raw, cheap and inelegant

Can. Aroma of malt and apples. Clear yellow colour with white head. Rather sweet pale lager with some butter in flavour and slightly oily feeling on the tongue. Misleading title.
