UPDATED: JAN 13, 2014 Appearance is clear dark brown, with small tan head that disappears quickly. Aroma is some caramel, plum and metal. The aroma is overall not very noticeable. Boring mouth feel with medium carbonation. Aftertaste is round, fruity, sweet, skunk and lasting metal finish. Overall: Its like the ringnes pilsener with some caramel malt.

Pours light black with an off-white head. Nose of sweet malts and bubble-gum. Aroma of sweet malts, some bubble-gum like aroma I can’t make out. Not bad, not good.

tfredvik (947) - Oslo, NORWAY - DEC 4, 2012
Dark brown to copper body with an average head that leaves some lacing. Moderate aroma with pale malts, caramel, faint sweet dried dark fruits, dust and roasted notes. Moderate sweet taste and light to moderate bitter finish. Some unpleasant metallic notes that lasts into to aftertaste. A bit vinous with a quite oily texture, medium body and moderate carbonation. This could have been quite nice without the metal.

Bottle at home. Has a clear deep reddish brown colour with a medium off-white head. Aromas of leather, nuts, caramel and dried fruit. More leather in a light flavour, and some oak and alcohol. The mouthfeel is slick, and has a light bitterness. A decent and mild Christmas beer.

Bottle from a trade with Cunningham, huge thanxxx!!!
Pours dark brown with fine creamy head. Smell has roasted malts, nuts and plum. Starts with dark fruits and bitter roasted malts, licorice and plum. Middle part has lots of raisin and plum, paired with sweetish and bitter roasted malts. Goes into a roasted burnt finish with lots of dark fruits. Surprisingly good stuff!!!

Wischylini (108) - Grimstad, NORWAY - DEC 23, 2013
Pours a clear dark brown, small tan head that disappears quickly. The aromas are generally weak, and the good aromas are not as noticeable as the bad ones. The aromas I detected were malty, with dried fruits and raisins, pine, nuts and a hint of liquorice – There’s also aromas reminiscent of farts, metallic notes and rubber. The taste is very sweet, but not as sugary as the low strength variety. The palate is, like the low strength variety, sticky, syrupy and unpleasant. This beer is a step up from the low strength variety, but still not particularily good. Avoid this one.
