to ma być pilsner? nawet daleko mu do średnich lagerów. Zwykłe i tanie piwo na słodzie kukurydzianym. Dobrze gasi pragnienie ale to zadanie przydatne tylko w południowej afryce

Decent hop aroma, colour is a bit pale, head is compact but lasting and the taste had a touch of dryness and also a bit metallic, but not a lot of flavour to go with it .

Apr 2015 - 330ml can from Savanna shop, 4.5%, BB Jun 2015, produced in SA. Clear yellow, sparkling, small foamy white head. Aroma is musty, a little vegetal. Body is medium, foamy, low carbonation. Taste is light with some watery green tea, faint wafer biscuit, touch of vegetable stock, tonic water. Light flavour. Only slightly offensive. Quite plain really. Gets better over time.

Can obtained from Grahmstown, South Africa from my girlfriend: Pours a very pale yellow with a white film for head. The aroma has a very mild saaz hint and a bisquity malt touch. Very thin body, and a mild flavor. However it’s crisp and has a subdued saaz touch. Not much body or bitterness, but it’s refreshing, clean and very decent for a canned South African lager.

Bottle in South Africa in Oct 2007. Light golden color with a white head. Light floral and champagne like aroma. Refreshing and simple with a dry finish.

ALLOVATE (2594) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - OCT 18, 2011
Medium gold, dull and seminally hazy (chill haze?). Lots of eddying streams of carbonation, adorned by a snow-white, resilient and tight head of foam. Dusty, herbal Saaz nose, lightly spiced, peppery and zesty, very clean. Very light, delicate and obscenely crisp on the swallow. Assertively bitter, herbal and grassy back end, a lot of pepper and palest, dry malt fill out the rest. This is as clean as a whistle. Nothing to whinge about per se. A very easy drinking colonial pilsener. (34cL, no date stamp, Thirsty Camel, Butler)

beers in a can always lose a couple points but this wasn’t to bad. Smell was pretty non existent a touch of sweet malt and not much else to speak of a fairly middle of the road palate and a very unoffensive flavor a touch sweet i guess.. overall an ok beer i guess but not a whole lot to it.
