Leederville, and after tasting it I would personally recommend it to anyone that I meet. Poured into a stumpy tulip, very fine carbonation raised a short pillowy tan head atop a clear, deep copper-amber body. Head was retained for the most and left a little legs down the glass. Rich and almost pungent pulped dark fruit aroma, cherries, plums and red grapes, with a mix of molasses and toffee, and an odd nutty note that came in long into drinking it. Similarly rich in the mouth and more intense than the light body would suggest. Sweet toffee and burnt sugars upfront, bready and doughy toasted grain and strong fruity esters mid-palate, through to a fruity and dry back that followed long into the malty and almost vinous swallow. Well rounded, intense yet sufficiently light in body and carbonation, this one was a great Bock and made for an excellent sipping beer. Pleasantly surprised by the flavour and balance of this one, held it’s alcohol well and managed to end my day on a good note. It’s definitely found a new place in my beer fridge. Lovely!!! Aroma features bready malt, a tussocky/honeyish German hop note and some fruit. On the palate the bready character is continued, joined by sweet toffee and a hint of roast, the finish is malt accented but does clean out from the hops. Good beer from an unusual location. mixamatt (427), San Francisco, California, USA

The head is off-white, average sized and creamy with fair lacing. The body has a nice medium amber hue. It has a light sweet flavour and shows some bitterness in the finish. QUite complex, something I wouldn’t expect, has some sourness to it, hints of grapes. Very good, recommended it is. raymow (740), Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA

I do know we threw the empties in Botswana when they weren't looking. Until we foud out they were bringing them back for the deposit. Had I not known where this came from - I never would have known. No, really what I mean is that I think it ranks right up there w/ the bocks I dig from Germany. States that the malt does indeed come from that land of old. So the malt and I suspect hops went from Germany to Namibia, bottle went to Florida (from where I know not) and made its way to Texas. The journey was worth it. Cool graphics much in the German style as well. Yes, I liked it.Thanks Belgie!
