0.375L from Belgian e-shop Deep purple color, almost no carbonation but a small pink head lasts for a few seconds. Aroma is almost too barnyard, not much fruit and almost bad(sulfuric). It has strong leather tones and some sourness. But the funk is so extreme that itís just to the limit of very good or very bad, sadly mostly to bad, because of the sulfur. I expected more intense flavor, but itís quite balanced. Some fruits, some funk, some sourness but no one overwhelmed the taste. Decent taste. The Brett is making fun of you while you drink this beer, I guess it makes fun of the brewery too, because I donít think theyíll easily get rid of it. But if the aroma getís better itís a nice fruit lambic. I didnít have much experience with Hanssens, do they usually have this kind of fluctuation on product quality?

Bottle. Purple color. Aroma is mostly cassic. Taste is mildly sour and tardy, with some oaky cassis current. Notes of horseblanket and some sweetness. Decent beer, could be more sour.

Interesting. Very low carb, a bit juicy. Dark red fruits, fairly sour but not overwhelming. Extremely drinkable.

Bottle @ Another Tasting, courtesy of kermis. Pours a deep purple beer with a very small pinkish head on top. Aroma is straight up poo with barnyard funk mixed with all sorts of sour stuff. Big, big Brett influences. Flavor is very decent, not too sour and actually quite subtle. Light sour touches, decent fruits going on. The aroma is killing this beer, because the flavor is quite good.

Bottle @ another tasting. Aroma is huge barn, hay, cassis, horseblanket and other fruits. Flavour is quite tangy citric sourness with cassis and other red fruits. Nice.

Bottle at Another Tasting, hosted by MrHangover. Almost clear purple pour, no head. Aroma of fruity blackcurrant, earthy, very funky, almost shitty and loads of barnyard. Flavor is slightly sour, quite fruity and a bit thin. Almost no carbonation and a bit too funky.

37.5ml Bottle - Bierkoning Amsterdam Aroma: Oaky, fruity, funk. Pours very flat. At first I was a bit underwhelmed by this. It really misses a bit of bubbles. But as it warms up there are a lot of complex flavors. The cassis is there, under an oaky load of bacterial funk. Not bad, but I had expected more especially given the high price (7.95 Euro per bottle in a store.).

September 27, 2014. Bottled march, 2014. Pours deep dark red with no head. Aroma is funky with barnyard, leather, manure notes, oak and black currants. Taste is light sweet fruity, medium tart fruity, funky and barnyard. Dry tart fruity finish. Light bodied and light to medium carbonation. A bit too heavy manure aroma to be great.
