375 ml bottle at Derek’s Tasting. Pours a rich garney glowing hue, a light haze, no real head with a few loose bubbles. Aromas are pretty strong barnyard, hay, horseblanket. Touches of blackberry, raspberry tannins, touches of oak with more horseblanket, funky brett, dryness, grass and hay. Pretty funk dominant. Initial is fairly flat, light bodied, with with some blackberry, black cherry, and touches of raspberry, tart with decent tannins, a touch of lactic acid. Fairly funky, horseblanket, hay, funky brett. Finish is thin, funky, touches of tart berry tannins. Funk dominated, lack of carbonation hurts it a bit. Not bad, funk is great. Carbonation is the issue

Not sure who shared this one, but thanks! Poured a a near clear ruby red with no heads whatsoever. Aroma had a manure/barnyard note with some quite sour red fruit. Flavor was similar with the manure funk taking a backseat to the sour red fruit.

Bottled sample via and shared with oakbluff. Blood red in colour with moderate carbonation. Aromas are of currents, flowers, diaper pail, and earth. Currents dominate the palate as well, along with some elements of lemon, fresh mozzarella cheese, and savory herbs. Medium bodied with bracing acidity. Not subtle at all, but very enjoyable.

UPDATED: FEB 1, 2011 Poured from bottle. Ruby in color with little head. As expected aroma is currants, funk, and wood notes. Flavor follows suit with a tartness. Solid sour that I wish I didn’t spill half of : (

Bottle. Clear purplish color, small fizzy red head. Fruit, sweet currants, and acidic sourness. The flavor is muted, and seems a bit watery, but the acid bites the throat. Not very good.

From a bottle poured a ruby color with a small amount of head. Nice light tart fruity flavor, a bit watery, with a quick finish.

375 ml bottle shared by lushawn- thanks again, Shawn! Pours a cloudy ruby color with an off-white head. Notes of lactic acid, tart cherries, plums, balsamic vinegarette, oak, and a little pepper. Light-medium bodied, with moderate carbonation and a sour, acidic mouthfeel. Very cool beer.

Bottle. Aroma of ultra dry leather and sharp lactic plums low carbonation. Heavy lactic sourness. Not overly complex, what one might expect, awesome

375ml bottle from Winooski shared with MartinT.
Appearance : Dark red with no head, only small "raisin juice" bubbles.
Aroma : Very sour with awesome barnyard and funky notes, nice fruits, notes of grapes. Very tannic.
Taste : Sour and tannic. A bit woody on the finish. Quite fruity. Finish is dry, sour and fruity. Nice barnyard also.
Overall : Carbonation is dead flat. Palate is surprisingly not so thin even if carbonation is non-existent. Still would be better with a bit more carbomation. Quite intense like the Hanssens Kriek but not as much. Still a bit too sour and a bit too tannic for my taste. Very enjoyable brew but half a bottle was enough.

2008 vintage bottle thanks to David. Deep purple pour, no head. Aroma is big horseblanket, cheese, some currant, lemon. Taste is big tart with the black currants, lemon, touch of barnyard, touch of oak, very dry finish. While a bit one dimensional, it was big, tart, and tasty. My kind of sour!
