Served from a bottle at toncatchers T3 tasting! Thanks to stefanje, lagunitasfan, weeheavysd, fordest, wetherel, alohac and of course toncatcher for suppling the house and grub. A very nice Lambic. Lots of sour and funk. I liked it.

Why is the name of this changed the bottle says different. Bottle you know it, you know it from juiceisloose. Thanks Jus to the Is Tin. Pours reddish pink with a tan ring. The nose is so nice I want to smell this or so everyday for ever, its so good, not a 10 but I don’t want to post a thread about what your favorite smell represents I don’t want to see any fecofeliacs on the forums they should stay home. Taste is sweet and rich and tart and funky and overall nice.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: DEC 8, 2009 Bottle… Pre-C&P’sLYFO Throwdown… Murky, dregs-like, cherry-red ale with a small, fizzy, white head. Aroma of leather, manure and horse blanket – funk house fun – minimal fruit. Light to medium-bodied with a skim-milk mouthfeel and nearly expired carbonation. Sour as hell. Finishes tart and watery, but eventually dries out a touch. Mucho kudos to TheCheeseMan for providing the bottle!

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. Sampled at post-NOTB tasting (Thanks Paul!) and multiple samples at Zythos America. Pours murky purple, capped with a small pink head. Sharp lactic aroma, with blackcurrant and wood. The flavor is not as acidic as the aroma, with notes of blackcurrant, earth, wood, and mild tartness. Very drinkable, with medium body and light carbonation. Really delicious beer.

C&PLYFOTD: Bottle. Pours a reddish pink hue, with a limited head and lacing. Big dry tart nose, with massive amounts of cherries and toasted grain. Dry flavors, tart, grainy with cherries, and thick oily hops in the finish. Big body, easy to drink. Very good.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
FRO throwdown: Awesome appearance at the tasting! Cloudy purple. Funky berries and green tomato vine plus spearmint that I always get from cassis. Low carbonation, mildly sour, more restrained acidity compared to other Hanssens I’ve had. Flavor features more spearmint and fruit.

Bottle from the Otown throwdown. Pours a nice ruby/orange color with very little head at all. Aroma is full of currants, funk, and some woody notes. Flavor is sour, funky, currants, earthy wood tones and more sourness. Sourhead rejoice this is for you.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured a hazy purple red color with a small, purplish color head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of currant, and yeah, seemingly pee, some vanilla, wood, and wild yeast. Taste of berries, currants, some cherry, wood, oak, and a dry, sour finish.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Courtesy ChzMan. Ruby/orange/purple with a bit of off white carbonation. A ton of brett on the nose along with cassis, oak, tartness, and a touch of brine. Flavor kicks up the cassis and brine, adds some vinous and tannic notes, sourness and funk balanced well. Medium body, lightly carbonated, lightly juicy, very dry. The brine notes combined with the bretty funk and the lesser seen cassis make for a great drink.
