Riktigt gott.

Pours deep dark red with no head. Aroma is funky with barnyard, leather, oak and black currants. Taste is tart fruity, funky and barnyard. Quite heavily sour. Dry tart fruity finish.

Feb. 2013 bottle in April ’15. Gorgeous ruby red with low carbonation. Nose is pretty simple, typical funk, some nondeScript red fruits, perhaps unripe raspberry. Quite tart, too much on it’s own actually, but works with some fatty Scottish salmon to balance it out. Tart, funk, indistinct red fruit again, cranberry, light oak. Too damn sour to have without food.

375ml bottle shared @La Tana (Rome) with ippopotamo36. Pours a deep violet (amazing!) color with a thin foam. Aroma is fantastic, so powerful and persistent, vinous, red grapes, blackberry, wow! Flavour is very sour, aggressive but pleasant, fruity, vinous, black currants, complex like a good wine. Medium body, medium carbonation. This is a real world class lambic!

Bottle share at CBC Clerkenwell. Thanks! Very dark ruby red, small white head. Aroma is malty, apple cider vinegar, cherry. Body is medium, smooth, low carbonation. Taste is strawberry, jammy, blueberry, dried fruits, a little metalllic in the finish. Quite nice.

Bottle: Poured a purple with red hint, bubble flat head. Aroma was musty berry with some funk. Taste was a mix of tart fruit, acidic, grape, and woodsy.

Vintage 2013.

Une bouteille botted in march 2013.
