Bottle lot C punched on the side of the label. Pour has a bright red color with minimal white head and a mostly still look. Aroma has a nice acidic base, currant, seeds, and some basement. Mouth feel is light and again there is little carbonation at all. Flavor amps up the acidity, sour currant, fruit skins, mild funk, and a lingering finish. The base beer is the winner here over the fruit though that is not a terrible thing. Wish there was a way to figure out the date on this as there is a lot of caked on sediment along one side of the bottle clearly showing it sat somewhere for a while on it’s side.

Bottle. Pours a flat purple pour with no head. Aroma is very funky, earthy notes, sweat, dank, manure. Taste is quite sour but less than I was expecting, very subtle fruitiness, winey character. Palate is flat, but so dry that the light minerality gives some impression of carbonation. Decent.

375 ml corked and caged bottle poured a clear purplish red with a lingering ring of pink bubbles. Aromas of black currants, barnyard funk and bread. Palate was light bodied and smooth with a dry tart finish. Flavors of bread, black currants and light barnyard funk with a smooth dry tart lingering currant finish.

Aroma-Smells like wet hay, horse blanket with a hint of raspberries Appearance-Golden-amber color with no head whatsoever. Taste-Sour, very sour and completely flat. there is also a hint of raspberry flavor. Overall-Very interesting. For being such a relatively light beer, this beer is not easy to drink because of the extreme tartness. I like it though.

Bottle at Grote Dorst, tragically with a hangover. Red amber colour, no head. Aroma is weird, sugar puffs, wheat, bit stinky. Taste is nice, lots of fruit, sour, coats the teeth.

2010 bottle to glass. Dark Ruby red pour with no head. Nose is leathery, earthy, sour start, some vinegar, and a sweet fruity end to the nose. Pretty complex aroma. Taste is sweet up front with vinegar, funk, and sweet currant. No carbonation at this point.

Bottle at Grote Dorst. Funky ss nose, with cassis, light leather, and turds. Pretty, deep crimson color. Stinky, funky flavor, currants, cardboard, dust, leather, and bit of manure. Nice fruit, but very weird and definitely challenging.
