Bottle - Extremely beautiful deep deep black red body, with a very right big bubbled beautiful head; Extremely beautiful, very deep and clear nose, the very ripe sweet black currant notes mixes perfectly with the drier deeper baking yeast, dry oak notes, big and strict; Very very sour body, a strange mix that I have never experienced before, a strange mix of malic warm and tartaric acids, velvet soft textured and actually quite full, very interesting; The very long finish starts with this strange acid mix as well, here quite biting almost warm acetic and then not acetic at all, not the acid of sour currant either but properly an interesting mix of them all, the aromas lasts to and changes pleasantly from dry fresh oak to ink later with the ripe black currant added. Very interesting beer. Thanks!

(bottle - corked & caged 375 ml) Clear ruby pour with no carbonation. Huge sour and tart aroma. Not much fruit. Massive pucker factor sour flavor. Absolutely delicious.

Bottle from Hop City. Pours a deep red with almost no head. Aroma is very tart with a fruity hint. Taste isn’t as interesting as I hoped it would be. Intense tartness at first that quickly fades into a flat taste.

375 cl cork and caged bottle. Opens without a pop. Pours flat, deep red. Nose is earthy, red berries and currants. Taste has red berries, currants, earthy tartness and some strange lemony notes.

Corked bottle pours a dark pink/red with no head. Aroma of leather, sweat and berries. Taste is earthy, funky, sweaty upfront with tart berry flavor on the back end. Lots of sediment in this guy. Pretty funktastic.

Corked bottle. Poured a hazy red color with a small frothy reddish head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Moderate to heavy tannic sour yeast aroma. Medium to abundant body with a dry texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy tannic & sour flavor with a medium to heavy sour finish of moderate to long duration. This beer met my expectations.

375 ml bottle shared by Tmoney99. Pours a slightly hazy reddish orange amber color with a small ring of off white bubbles. The aroma and flavor have tart black currant/berries, wood, funk, some Brett character, acidity, the flavor is good but would have really popped with some carbonation.

Countbeer (4300) - Best of E-Town mit ein Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - MAY 19, 2014
Bottle: Served in a Cantillon Tumbler: Beautifull cloudy/light hazy dark purple red ish colored beer with some bubbles/thin islands floathing on top. The aroma is true Pajotesq: horse stables and horse blankets, oak, wild yeast, farm, barnyard, old wood and barn, light cassis/black currents, manure, stables and some red fruit with a light dusty edge. Flavour is not as tart as I would expect this beer to be, it’s way more dryer tan tart! Lot of black currants and bitters with some other dry berries and grape skin, wild yeast, barn, malts, wood, horse stables and dusty cellar tones with a red fruity touch. Nice! Aftertaste is dry, dry fruity tones like berries, grape skin and some darker currents, some wild yeast, dry malty herbs and some wood. Low to no carbo, watery mouthfeel, medium to fuller bodied and a watery dry texture.
